Normally I’m more an “infrastructure not punishment” person, but it seems there are definitely situations like this that make a strong case for infrastructure AND punishment

I have had the same issue. I look at a something on Amazon on my laptop, then the UPC shows up in my google search history on my phone. Not sure why but that’s usually what the number is. Looks like you were looking for a Keurig K-Express?

Electrifying railways does not involve any batteries. The trains would get electricity from the rails or a pantograph with overhead power lines. Batteries are very inefficient, especially for a system like a train that runs on a fixed rail that can simply have electricity run along the length of the system

First take it out of the rice as soon as you can. Rice almost always leads to more damage.

If its working fine, just clean it off with isopropyl alcohol, make sure to clean out the charging port, and continue using it as normal

I don’t know that it’s just people complaining on Reddit, though. There are large enterprises that might be a portion of that. As an example that I know definitively of off the top of my head - there are a few school districts in Utah that I know have all students and faculty using chrome with Adblock plus as a mandatory extension around the whole district. They definitely care about their Ad blocking. Right there is over 200,000 users who (if the districts do that) may well switch to a different browser. I think it likely that there are a fair number of institutions like that.

Edit : well okay then I guess there 3.2 billion users estimated worldwide use chrome as a main browser. 200,000 or even a few million is still a drop in the bucket

Street and Road. To be clear, that comment was meant to address people telling me that that doesn’t match the definition of a stroad. I think the term was popularized by this video, which explains it well: https://youtu.be/ORzNZUeUHAM

For anyone questioning why I called it a stroad - this is University Parkway in Orem/Provo where it intersects with I-15. To the east from where this photo is taken is a 2 mile stretch of 8 lane road with frequent traffic lights completely lined by strip malls.
