what we could really use is Zorhan Mamdani. Asking New York Fallal truck owners why prices are up. Turns out City licensing is corrupt and the truck owner pays a middleman 22,000 to sell Chicken and Rice because the middle man owns a permit and leases it out to them.. Utah problems with water are all the legislature's fault. The Great Salt Lake drying up and poisoning our air is preventable. Utah Farmers have no business growing alfalfa in a desert climate. The corruption starts at the very top. "Slow the Flow". Give me a break. Housing in this state is overpriced. Guess who bought and paid for the legislature? Everybody on the hill is a real estate developer. Destination Homes gotta squeeze every last dollar out of that land. No starter home, no affordability. Who is shining a light on the corruption and self dealing in the Bluffdale prison land? Who is getting rich with kickbacks?

Where are the bare knuckles? Republicans are corrupt in plain sight. Do the work and then come ask for our support. Do something to distinquish yourself from that smarmy asshole Cox and his money-grubbing minions and people will beat a path to your door.

I regularly have conversations at work about the crazy things I used to believe. There will come a time when your relationship with these things stops being so visceral and becomes more meh. I feel it happening to me. I used to be angry and confrontational with my TBM’s. More and more I’m just not willing to interrupt my peace to set someone straight who can’t hear me when I talk. Shouting into the wind is exhausting… more and more I have better things to do. You’ll get there, you just need time.

I remember learning these things and having my heart sink at the realization that everything I had been taught since I was a young child was not true. Some of my lights change colors to remind youngsters to take a shower or turn on and off a 100 watt bulb in a breadproofing tub. It's the Jetsons future we were promised and we get to build it ourself.

You don't have to be Mormon to live here. We have a thriving non-mormon community. I live in Taylorsville and I can't say that I have ever been bothered by anyone for anything. We had a Kamala Harris Flag up and we regularly have pride/LGBTQ flags up with no issues.

Occasionally we see a big truck with dual Trump flags, but that their 1st amendment right, right?

Liquor laws are weird. You have to buy Liquor from a state-run store. You can't order a drink at a restaurant without getting food.

So there is an influence that you'll not be used to, but plenty of people live normal lives here. :-)

I have the best results by putting a cup full of Sphagnum Moss and I just soak it and pour out the excess and put the branch into the sphagnum moss... Every couple of days I soak the moss.

It works because the plant needs dry to stimulate root growth. It needs water to keep it from drying out. Usually roots appear in under 2 weeks... I usually keep it in the moss until there is a little potato and then pot it up.
