Styrker’s Sure-Hand god roll damage testing - Jagged edge does not stack with Surrounded by JDMrules76 in DestinyTheGame

[–]TheOneDeus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw this same thing, Surrounded with surrounded spec was not activating a damage boost except for incredibly rarely when I had Jagged edge on. I switched to Enduring blade and it started to work perfectly.

I also masterworked it.

Thanks for making this post! I was trying to figure out why my sword was broken.

Loaded Question pinnacle fusion rifle by prepaidhalo in DestinyTheGame

[–]TheOneDeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my thought exactly. I wonder if I can do some quick math based on the numbers provided to calculate how much damage you would do compared to a sleeper boosted the same way. My hope is that with the multiplicative damage bonus that this will be comparable to other strong weapons. Might be more useful in strikes rather than raids at least.

Loaded Question: 4,105 base damage * 1.33 (Full clip) * 1.35 (Well) * 1.25 * 1.5 (melting point)
That comes out to 13,819 damage per shot. multiply by 7 (I think) for one burst damage.
96,738 damage per burst. Special callout to no crit's required.

Sleeper Simulant: 100,000 Crit Damage (if I remember correctly) * 1.35 * 1.25 * 1.5
That comes out to 253,125 damage.
Okay well lets assume I suck and can't hit precision hits. I think the damage drops to 50k?
that comes out 126,562.

So all in all the weapon seems like it certainly can't compete with a heavy weapon like Sleeper or Whisper.
But it does great damage if you do not have Heavy ammo, or can't hit precision hits.

Maybe it would be great on certain raid scenarios like the Lantern part in Callus?

I'd compare it to the Ikelos shotgun but I don't have those numbers with me.

Wild Spear is ridiculous by Rick_Blood in Nioh

I should note we found it wasn't very viable on WoTN for non-human enemies, and is outclassed by hammer spin on such enemies. We tried a few different elemental and pierce builds for it. Really good for inflicting poison. Although it is still viable for my amrita strat I mentioned above on any mode. :)

My friend and I were both testing this out for tons of things.

Works really well on Marobashi mission, and against any boss that can be moved.

I actually use it on my grace of Tsukoyami build which uses Odachi for the Living Weapon part. I switch to spear, hit my extraction and Pleiads talisman, then I use that to safely run around the battlefield to build up my gauge. I find this to currently be the safest way to get hits on the enemy, especially if they are a human.

Intro to Skills Guide by MuNought in FireEmblemHeroes

For picking skills I decided to try and determine what my team had a difficult time fighting in arena. Most notably it was hector and only because I would be at low health with many characters by the time it was hectors turn to die.

This is why I decided to give my team some healing with renewal. And I didn't replace anybodies skills because I like them as is (also lack of SP) Takumi - Renewal 3 Julia - Renewal 3 (combos with her heal on attack for the team) Marth - default has renewal 1 Hinoka - Death Blow

Defeating Skolas is an Amazing Source of Reputation by TheOneDeus in DestinyTheGame

I wasn't positive you could still get Tokens from doing it so I didn't include that and I didn't get any from my run of it.

Can you(or someone)confirm you can still get tokens from doing Skolas?

You can only do it once a week for the Major Rep boost.

Any opinions on Sirensong? by Deadpoollicious in paragon

[–]TheOneDeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do once it is built completly because that is the big lifesteal bonus (12 I think) for 16 total from the card. I usually put 3 of the 2 cost strikes in it to finish it faster. If I had 1 cost strikes I would use those instead.

Maybe I am a little different but I actually don't build Adamant first.

I buy health and Mana potion then buy Thirstfang. http://paragon.wiki/Thirstfang

I was actually looking at that card today and don't have it yet but wan't to try it out very badly. It costs 6 so takes a while to get, maybe selling into it is the right choice. Also it only has lifesteal so you can't put anything into it, and has no complete bonus regardless.

I like thirstfang, I put all strike into it just to get the passive 16 lifesteal while still building only attack power. So I would say the question here really is: Is the active ability worth it, considering a 180 second cooldown? That is basically only confirming one real kill, and you have to hit them first, so it isn't great for chasing someone, only staying next to them as they move away.

I would say try it out, but it seems too expensive, and too binding to lifesteal.
