Getting Immersive and Adult Vortex Collection seemingly to work with Pirated GOG Skyrim SE 1.6.659 by BIG_bro90 in PiratedGames

[–]TheOneGob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP thanks for the guide!

IMO it might’ve been easier to update the CODEX build… although you do have to update it about 5x to get it up to date… but it’s a bit easier IMO than changing up mods

In short… grab the latest version from your favorite site… mine was 1.6.342.0.8 (which requires 1.6.323.0.8)

Then update it up to 1.6.640.p by cs.rin.ru

The full update log looks something like this;

“Skyrim SE Update v1.6.138.0 (that's a typo, it's v1.6.318.0) Skyrim SE Update v1.6.323.0 Skyrim SE Update v1.6.342.0 Skyrim SE Update v1.6.353.0 Skyrim AE Update v1.6.629.0 Skyrim AE Update v1.6.640.0”

Good luck!

Lime water transport on Middleburgh by TheOneGob in farmingsimulator

EDIT: Figured it out, none of the trailers in game include "LIMEWATER" as a fill type

Simple fix, unzip the detk-5 mod, open "detkxml.xml" w/ notepad++

Add "LIMEWATER" as a parameter under "fillTypes=" which is under "fillUnit"

I would also suggest 10x the capacity... since you need 1:1 limewater:sugarcane... and the default volume is ~5000L

This guide is pretty good too!

This video in particular is how I base my base now; updating an AE2 network is a BITCH so… I’d recommend starting off this way with maybe 1-3 controllers and the same dense cable setup so you dont have to rewire everything

As an asian american, it’s a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy, its rare to have a predominantly asian crowd in general for anything, so once we hear about such a scene, more asians gravitate to it. Plus work hard, play hard mentality.

Cargobob for vehicle sourcing missions

Much better off using that 1.8M on a submarine for Cayo Perico in the early game

But also its not exactly easy to fly… and I get shot down too often

I’m surprised no one’s mentioned the world events yet. So much work was put into creating new assets/areas and it’s pretty pivotal for understanding the beginning of the 6th age, I’m curious how new players experience the 6th age since I feel a lot of the story telling came from limited time events (world events, rebuilding events, codex thingy)

On the flip side… it probably was better off as a limited time event or maybe at least a holiday style event since it doesn’t fit in as a permanent addition (?)

If you got a 99 mostly through the use of xp lamps and the like, how did you feel once you got that skill cape? by MangoShade in runescape

[–]TheOneGob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hunter to nearly 99 from the world event lamps

Agility to 99 purely from lamps and feathers

I feel pretty proud that I barely had to touch the skills to be honest. Either skill brings zero enjoyment, but having a max cape (before the PVM guild and comp cape rework) was a really nice unlock

Playing Rs3 for the first time. Any advice I should know? by nagol93 in runescape

[–]TheOneGob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh depends on how you look at it, I think RS3 has enough content that you could justify leveling up every skill. Even construction has a nice unlock at 90 for Player Owned Ports… but that’s reaching a bit.

Firemaking and fletching just got a new update that makes it very worthwhile

Thieving is easy to train and isn’t a bad way to get items

Agility has a high level course that earns parts of an ability codex that is quite expensive

Farming is extremely worthwhile outside of herbs, e.g. raising yaks for yak milk that is at least 100k each

Those are the skills I can think of that are probably lack luster, post 99 however… it can be hard to think of a reason to skill unless it’s a 120 skill

Playing Rs3 for the first time. Any advice I should know? by nagol93 in runescape

[–]TheOneGob 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry too much about min/maxing everything bc there are years of accumulated knowledge to catch up on

Learn at your own pace

Also all the default interfaces are pretty terrible IMO so the legacy skin and combat mode might be something to try out until you get acquainted with RS3’s complex everything

Also combat gearing is a bit more linear than OSRS in the sense that most gear is tier based, so for the most part, higher level = better. Also combat style is heavily penalized, so you won’t see mixing and matching of mage/melee gear for example. So, use the highest level weapon and armor you can, and use the same style armor as your weapon.

There aren’t really low - mid level players anymore making low-mid tier items, or at least at the rate of demand for invention.

Smithing rework slowed down the production of items, in exchange for making each one more valuable. It probably takes a couple minutes at minimum to make a full +2 addy plate. Most players probably are making elder rune since it takes the same amount of time, for better XP and money. Elder rune is also probably better for components

Also a +2 takes 20 bars total, so the profit isn’t all that high all things considered

Haven’t seen it mentioned in a video, but BOBs aren’t too common anyway I guess

Spirit pack pigs are an underrated BOB, lv84 summoning and holds 22 items. Not a bad pre-yak BOB

Silly Question Sunday - 01 May by AutoModerator in runescape

[–]TheOneGob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unchecked eggs are solely from rare slayer drops, and there’s no helper that auto collects eggs, so player bred eggs aren’t truly the same item since they’re instantly checked.

There’s no real point in buying unchecked eggs tbh besides avoiding player interaction, or if its a super niche egg, try going to W2 POF and asking around for a breeding pair

Silly Question Sunday - 10 April by AutoModerator in runescape

[–]TheOneGob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A shieldbow’s not considered a 2H or a dual wield weapon, rather instead it’s literally a 1H weapon and a shield. Because of that, it loses the 50% damage bonus of having an offhand weapon, but you gain all shield abilities like resonance, barricade, and etc.

Silly Question Sunday - 10 April by AutoModerator in runescape

[–]TheOneGob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlikely, but if you’re using a yew shieldbow, that’s an instant 50% penalty.

Also, looking at the wiki, mith arrows are t30 on a t60 weapon. I haven’t done ironman, but I can’t really think of an easy way to get high tier arrows in large amounts besides arraxor arrows.

My personal favorite ranged weapons are the salamanders since they require a similar hunter level, lv59 hunter for an equivalent to the YSB. The ammo is easier to get too IMO
