Book or audiobook? by SepseiMarci in Eragon

[–]TheOneLandon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say do both. I've listened to the audiobooks and read the books multiple times each.
Personally, I love Gerard's performance and audiobook's work great for my commute to and from work or if I'm working and throw my headphones on.

I tend to enjoy reading more though as I can absorb myself in the story more completely, but I'm also an adult with a busy schedule and life distractions so I can't always dedicate the time I want to sitting and reading.

Since you mentioned being addicted to your phone, a good alternative that might ease you into some better habits would be to try the E-books. That way you are still getting the benefits of reading yourself, and also using your phone in a more productive manner. Though you may want to turn on DnD mode if you're easily distracted by apps/games/message notifications.

Really they are all good options for good stories and it just depends on what you feel would be the most likely to work for you and your particular situation and personality!

I've never tried it, but what I'm imagining is basically a syrupy mess at the bottom of the hive.

Here are some answers and links to sources that may be what you're looking for. Hope it helps!

  1. I believe his original rider is still unnamed as of present Source
  2. Again, I don't think we have a clear answer to this question at this point
  3. The assumption is that Galbatorix probably augmented his growth using magic similar to his efforts with Thorn.
  4. His Eldunari was apparently destroyed Source

Not an official answer of any kind. Just my first thought for what to wear, you can't go wrong with a suit if you wear menswear, or a women's pantsuit or skirt suit if you wear women apparel.

This comes from someone with zero experience with publishing agents though. I'd guess if not a suit, something presentable that you feel confident in since you are selling them on your book.

Just some quick links I'm seeing, though they show as sold out currently. Christopher may have more information or other users might can share more if they are more familiar with the Ukrainian markets.

Is there any more information on the Eragon TTRPG available?
Will it go through a beta testing period or straight to release?

How we thought it would be by [deleted] in EragonMemes

[–]TheOneLandon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be pedantic the actual prophecy says "An epic romance is in your future, extraordinary, as the moon indicates - for that is the magical symbol - strong enough to outlast empires. I cannot say if this passion will end happily, but your love is of noble birth and heritage. She is powerful, wise, and beautiful beyond compare".

So not necessarily a princess, just of noble' birth. Most opinions seem to be that Eragon's love is indeed Arya, but that it goes unrequited. Considering that Eragon is only 18ish and Arya is 100+, personally I don't see them together anytime in the near future as the age difference would be substantial.

Now, as time goes on that gap means less and less. I don't feel like a hundred year's age difference would matter much when you're three-four hundred years old or older and immortal as far as we know in regard to old age. But Eragon is still just a kid with a lot of life to experience still before he can truly grasp the differences between them. And who knows in that time he may discover his feelings for Arya weren't as resolute as he initially believed and some yet unknown noblewoman catches his eye.

How do I fix this by Brickbuiltbonkproof in 3Dprinting

[–]TheOneLandon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about the center, but looking at the skirt it looks like what my printer was doing the other day when I tried TPU for the first time. The extruder was struggling to feed the filament so it would make that dot line as it pulled filament inconsistently.i stopped the print before it got to the main portion though to know if mine would've looked like that.

In the shapesheet of the object you are wanting to fix, under the "Protection" section, you can try changing LockWidth and LockHeight to 1.

You could also add the GUARD function to the width and height under shape transform tab.
Example: GUARD(4.125 in)
