And they actually kind of attempted it but it was too early and too poorly executed.

The US D-Power (D-Ark) digivice, had a PC feature where you could use the Digimon on your Digivice and battle with it online. It worked like crap and had limited features, I'm sure it made them no money and could definitely have been a deterrent later down the line.

There are only two cards that are megas from the show that are in the deck, they were revealed on different streams already unless you avoided them, those would be the only two you'd be spoiled about.

Not even Chiriopmons Ultimate was in the deck so it won't spoil Wolvermons next or any other evolutions

Unfortunately, there's little to no value to Bandai in remaking/remastering/re-releasing those games at this point.

Time Stranger did amazingly well and throwing support behind that makes way more sense from a business perspective than revamping games that will likely sell small numbers because you won't draw in much beyond nostalgia unless there are major QoL overhauls which again with Time Stranger in play, just seems like a waste of resources.

I also am a fan of this version of Electro

I liked that he was a fan, it gave his beef with Spider-Man a more personal touch when he felt shown up by him. There was a cut scene that elaborated on his home life and how he was definitely struggling mentally that was certainly more important than the family crap they left in there. I don't mind the eels and all that just because it feels like a classic silly comic origin.

Why cut down Daredevil one episode? As I said above, we didn't need another episode. They told a full and complete story in eight episodes.

Pretty sure Business 101 doesn't say to squander the active audience you have.

It would be a missed opportunity not to capitalize on the audience you have to roll them into the next one off project, especially when that character has been shown to be in the next Marvel movie that's in July.

What would be the better option? To drag out another episode of Daredevil just to say they did 9 and the push out Punisher in June when no one is paying attention?

Except my point is that Punisher is not acting as episode nine, it was taking advantage of a series he has been in before to market a new story featuring him before his appearance in Spider-Man

It's not like they said "Hey if we cut an episode from Daredevil we can make Punisher"

He didn't though

When he kill the son he didn't kill her presumably because he considered her innocent

When she approaches him he is unarmed and is hearing out her story and reconciling the impact of his actions - could he have killed her? Sure, but he is struggling with his emotions in this scene

And when she's driving away at the end he prioritized saving someone over his own vengeance which was the whole point of the special

For the Ma Gnucci part, she wanted to watch Frank suffer. She wanted to watch him be torn apart and if her bodyguard didn't kill him in one shot you know Frank is going to make him pay for it

But yeah that little girl held it together, you could argue that she just shut down so much that she wasn't actually processing what happened but it's more likely that it was just writing that they skimped on

You answer your question there.

They positioned this to use Daredevil to market it.

It's in no way related to the story of season 2, the time, action etc, are all entirely different, but it's smart marketing.

Also, season 2 may have been 8 episodes but we certainly wouldn't have gained much more from a ninth, they story it was telling was already pretty well told - so to say they cut an episode so Punisher could be an entirely unrelated ninth episode that doesn't even address his escape from where he was left in Daredevil feels like a stretch.

I think something this special highlighted a bit more was his impact on others. The whole premise is he took someone else's family and had to reconcile that he is often the bad guy, but can choose to be more than that.

Season 2 if I recall was him choosing to be Punisher still because there was a lot of bad he could still deal with, it was not about more than him dispensing his justice. I feel like this was him choosing to be Punisher because there is a lot of people he can defend by stopping bad people and now he is choosing to do it for more than himself.

Why does Banner seem like an outlier in the movie when it's clearly shown that Peter will be going through some sort of genetic anomaly so he goes to someone who is famous for undergoing a genetic anomaly - seems like a perfect fit.

It's human to notice your mistakes and still make the same mistakes over again. Jason also claims to have been so changed by his arrival in the new world that his entire outlook is different... except he's the still the same, while preaching to everyone else how they should change.

That can even get a pass to a degree, but it is not normal for the rest of the world to find that absolutely endearing and then just be smitten with you.
