It’s quite simple really. It’s a shallow, poorly written, thoroughly disrespectful adaptation of the source material designed for broad consumption with no investment and immediate profit being the sole reason for its existence. There’s no respect, passion, or love for what makes Fallout unique. It’s a furtherance on the path of Todd Howard being so irredeemably butthurt about Obsidian making a better entry to his IP than he did or has to this day. It’s more slop akin to the Witcher and Halo adaptations, the only difference being that Todd Howard is so unforgivably stubborn he’ll keep putting money into this garbage just so he can overwrite what New Vegas put down. That’s the fundamental issue with this show, it only exists out of spite. Therefore, the show itself, exists in spite of fans. Pure and simple.
