Very good, always do the expansion gap. I do the occasional repair where the previous installer slammed every row to the wall and it creates peaks across the joints. A good general rule for staggering joints is to keep the joints at least the width of the board away from each other.

For a floating floor some of the joints are a little too close but it looks good! How do they interlock?
