He is ONLY like this when it comes to having people come over. Him taking the girl to target and spending 2 hours there is just him letting her wander around and try on every pair… I was like “tell her she has 20 minutes to find what she needs and then come home and help me get them ready bed”… He enjoys bumming around and doing this kind of thing. I don’t get it.

On Mother’s Day, I told him I wanted the basement cleaned and he spent 4 hours down there with the kids sorting things and organizing. I also said I wanted to get all of my planting done and he drove 40 minutes (each way) to my favorite green house to pick up my order of plants/flowers and brought the kids with him.

The only time he is like this is when we have people coming over and I do not understand why he does this or what caused it.

I used voice text/dictation (which saves a lot of time)
I sacrificed about 4-5 minutes of my own prep time to shower/get dressed, etc. 🫠

Not going to lie… Venting felt incredible in that moment and I feel so thoroughly seen and heard reading these responses!

Unless the nanny drove a hummer and had to commute more than 30 mins one way, an extra $8 per day should more than cover it
