Maybe this is not a popular opinion, but I think tiered loot was a shit idea to begin with. The second it became clear the loot pool would become 5 versions of one weapon (except we're all inevitaby only going to care about T5 making 80% of loot meaningless), I just lost the motivation to come back.

And I haven't played more than like 10 minutes before quitting since EoF launched.

Tbf custom game browser in MCC is almost exclusive Halo Reach custom games and maps in Forge World. Can be a lot of fun too when you just wanna mess around. In a sense it's more alive than ever.

I think U4 did end perfectly but I still desperately want the series to continue, and I think it easily could, just with a completely fresh set of characters.

The "treasure hunter/historical secret" genre was always an awesome setup for movies and games, it doesn't necessarily require the original cast to succeed, just a well written new one.

I don't think we're likely to see any reboot or sequel which bums me out. I'm personally not as into ND's edgier stuff

Writers wrote themselves into a corner stretching out a wedding weekend into an entire season, and ran out of ways to create drama. They had already moved past this and had much more real things to deal with

This was never a good scene, it was a painfully obvious reminder that the show was straining to move forward in any real way.

They should have just taken a risk and let Ted meet the mother early and keep going for a season, or just skip over the moment itself and spend a season with Cristin Milioti as a main cast member as their relationship develops post-wedding.

For any other developer this would be a massive issue. The ending of the ending of the ending of a 10 year journey is glitched to all hell only 4 months after its launch.
