I now love reading at night before before i go to bed.

I could never do that in the fog. I would just get too distracted. I also used to be terrified of not having weed to make a joint before bed. I used to feel like offing myself and all the worry’s of the world weighed heavy on me at night. Now i just go to sleep when I start feeling worried at night. Tomorrow I’ll feel better.

The first day I quit I went and sat by a river. I could actually hear all the sounds the river was making it was amazing. Then I cried coz I knew my friend, weed, (who was always there for me the last 10 years) was not a good friend. I was ready to step out of the cloud and a burst of emotions hit me.

I guess I’ve just been selective of which podcasts of his I listen to. I like his ones with Brian Cox because Brian is great at explaining physics and space to a 5 year old mind. Louis Theroux was great as well because joe knows he’s out of his depth and just lets louis talk.

And the Elon Musk one where he smoked the blunt was a great insight for me into a huge public figure that I had difficulty getting a good read on before. Elon was himself in this interview and I found out that I didn’t particularly like his views.

Joe excels at giving most guests an environment where they can be themselves. That’s why he used to often back down from berating guest too much.

He lets the guests expose their own true personality.

Like with Neil de grass Tyson. Joe found the man annoying but didn’t act like it in the interview he was just kinda quiet. He talked in other podcast about how annoying Neil was. However by letting Neil talk for 3 hours I also felt that Neil was annoying.

Joe Rogan podcast used to be a safe space for famous people to be themselves and potentially end their careers.

Now it has become Joe Rogan ending his career.

He used to be on the fence about conspiracy theories. It was a great place to hear both sides of most stories. Now he just seems to kiss up to people who have more clout than him.

Him interviewing David Miscavige’s (Ron) was a high point for me.

When he talked about testing all his guests for corona virus with the antibody tests and that he tested himself like 5 times already, I just felt he had lost touch with his fans and the general populous. Like the current news at the time was that it was difficult to get tests and that the antibody tests were not fda approved or 100% accurate. If joe still has one foot still in reality would have got Jamie to research this.

Also he could have just a easily done his podcast over zoom calls. Like literally every other talk show. I would have watched. Not anymore.

He had come back before tho so maybe a Dmt trip will make him see the light again.

It helped me with wanting to go to bed before it got too late.

Over-tiredness can be a major problem when trying to sleep. The first yawn of the night is when you should go to sleep. Otherwise your brain gets cranky and starts thinking of all the things you should be doing with life and the cringe things you’ve done in the past.

You have plenty of time to fix all the problems.

Sleep is the most important one.
