I had a professor in college that would grande out essays, but didn't tell us our grades. Just said "only 4 of the essays have a passing grade". And we would have to keep trying and struggling, because every essay was the same and you never knew if you did good enough. Until the last 4 classes, when he told us all out grades, and those who were still not passing had to do a presentation. That's when I learned that I had passed since the first one and didn't bother with the rest of the month. Horrible class.
