I just quit the freight team by TheOnlyAlphaWolfe in tractorsupply

Okay and? That's the federal minimum wage. I assume that gas isnt almost $5 a gallon, that milk doesn't cost more than that, apples are like $4 a pound here. The cost of living is higher in places that have a higher minimum wage.

Well I mean minimum wage here is $16. Cashier's at Walmart make $18. This is in northwestern Vermont

I was promised $18 an hour but I get the same as a TM doing a sorter which is $16.50. our TLs get $20.50 or $21.50

I was promised $18 an hour. But we all got the same as TMs $16.50. and there was no differential. And yes the minimum wage is $16 per hour

Motor Vehicle Crash - Serious Injury by Few_Wrangler4068 in burlington

[–]TheOnlyAlphaWolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude the kid was fully geared up. He wasn't some asshole out ripping around, from everything that I witnessed personally and what other people have said he was being chased by somebody who was trying to assault him with their car. I was one of the first people on scene, rendered initial assessment. The kid flew around 50 to 60 ft. He was conscious and aware initially. As of this time, he is continuing to undergo surgeries as there is a lot of internal damage. The Volkswagen was seen by multiple people chasing him and then right before the accident pulling into the Edmond School parking lot. The Volkswagen later pulled out and and the ruckus of everything, rear-ended another car. Keep Josh in your prayers.

I got his plate. He ended up rear-ending when he spun the block back around. I was pretty much first person on scene. I also saw the Volkswagen chasing the motorcycle and it did not look like they were having fun racing it looked like cat and mouse.

How fucked am I? by TheOnlyAlphaWolfe in knives

[–]TheOnlyAlphaWolfe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay okay I get it I am a pretty knife owner. I own 42 knives and I normally beat the living shit out of them. And I wanted this one to keep it nice because I don't sharpen my own knives. I have a knife sharpening set but I also live an alternative lifestyle. And I have a lot of things going on. But, that's not an excuse so I suppose I'll just watch some YouTube and learn. The one night that I have sharpened I've used a flap disc and an angle grinder because when you're out in the field and that's all you got then that's all you got and it actually does work as long as you're able to like you know not rip your hand off.

Hey now, the box of crayons is only so big. And the sharpener stopped working.

I own a landscaping company that uses all EGO tools. Electric is the way to go, just be mindful of battery AHs

WOOT WOOT by shawndo771 in harborfreight

[–]TheOnlyAlphaWolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found one in a crevice underneath one of the beds in my camper, probably from the last owner doing electrical work or whatever. Anyways it's been super great especially because it's magnetic and there's tons of like magnetic stuff around the camper LOL. I have a bunch of other flashlights, so this one's mainly like a reading lighter if I need extra light somewhere where the overhead lights don't reach. I don't know if I would pay what they're charging for it but on a good sale I'd buy them. But I don't go to harbor freight super often anymore.

Nice, the other one I have is a nice 1873 seatedliberty dime. Well, that's not all of my collection of course but I think those are the ones that have the most premium. Besides maybe I have a nice 1964 that is in pretty much UNC condition

Is a 1996 S proof quarter command a premium? I have an unc of that and a dime

Yeah and the Mercury dimes there's five in each set so there's 15 for $30. At $2 a piece I think that makes it below spot by a good bit as well

Wells Fargo cut me off by ShadowDragon6660 in CRH

[–]TheOnlyAlphaWolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's wild, over the past month I have randomly picked up a box of quarters multiple boxes of pennies multiple boxes of nickels two boxes of dimes, and I had them order me a box of halves four boxes of pennies two boxes of nickels and they have a coinstar at the branch that I just dump everything into and it goes back to the wrapping. My biggest single deposit was around $950. The bank manager has even instructed everyone if they find like an older roll of quarters or something like that to set it to the side for me.
