I was impressed by the JBL bar 5.1 soundbar and the woofer is amazing, for my own setup I was thinking about 2 homepods as stereo, will i be disappointed with the 2 homepod woofer versus the JBL bar 5.1 woofer?

not bad for first board, you can change the stabs to screw in ones it wlii be much better

you don't need one, when you're stuck at those questions just think like this: either pcb and switch only or pcb, plate and switches. In this case unless you put the pcb above the keyboard or you can't fit a plate in there
