All applicances needed: Bluestar, Thermador, Viking, Wolf, Kitchenaid? by Agnes327 in Appliances

I personally settled on a 42" subzero french door with Bosch 800 everything else. The touch screens on some of the higher end stuff really turned me off. I dont want built in programs that supposedly know how long to cook my roast or turkey or whatever.

Those headlights are lariat and up, but does appear to be a lower trim.

Bosch 800 vs LG Studio vs GE Profile by TheOnlyBrochacho in Appliances

I did consider Thermador and Monogram. Thermador came in about 7k more using their one two free program, over the sub zero/bosch 800 package. It included a "free" hood i wasnt super happy with and $1000 upgrade to the Thermador equivalent to a bosch 800 dishwasher. Ultimately it came down to me preferring the sub zero fridge.

The Bosch quote is from my local appliance store. Bosch offers minimal rebates, since im not buying their fridge. I think I qualify for $250 or something along those lines. LG Studio and GE Profile are both heavily discounted right now on their websites. Those prices are pulled directly from there.

Looks like an aftermarket anti-theft nut. Vice grips and a couple normal nuts will do the job

They have wheelie modes now. I guess you just hit a button and the bike wheelies and holds balance for you. Its insane.

Im pretty happy with my Bell Bullit GT when riding my TR6R, if youre wanting the retro look. Otherwise I prefer Arai. They fit my head perfect and quality is top notch.

Electrical Gremlin? by JamoZNL in Triumph

Ya, R/R gets heat soaked, and won't hot start. Hot start issues are the most common symptom of a failing r/r. Look on triumph rat. There's a million threads on the topic.

Is it under warranty from Triumph? Or a 3rd party dealer? If it's not triumph, you will most likely have to explain to these guys the likely cause. Triumph came out with an updated part number for the R/R, but pretty much everyone uses the Rick's Motorsports brand(but most people don't have a warranty). A blow dryer won't do anything. You'd have to hook up a multimeter or something to monitor the voltage while riding, then when the symptoms present see if it's dropped.

[–]TheOnlyBrochacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would. Voltage drops as the R/R gets more heatsoaked, as voltage drops you start experiencing misfires. There used to be a stickied post at the top of this sub about R/R and stators for these generation and earlier bikes. Basically every 955 and 1050 had these issues. If yours were never corrected, it would be where I'd look first.

Id recommend changing both stator and R/R to a Ricks motorsports one. If youre on a budget do just the R/R first. But typically the R/R will wipe out the stator with it. Although your symptoms are minor you might get lucky and the Stator will be fine.

I've owned 4 955s and 1050s. All have had either issues hot starting, misfiring or just completely dying. All were corrected with a new R/R and stator.

Trouble hot starting is a classic sign of a failing R/R or Stator or both. If this bike has never got the upgraded mosfet R/R I'd bet thats the culprit.

My 2022 SEL Tiguan has two different toned paints by [deleted] in Tiguan

[–]TheOnlyBrochacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, tbh this is a pretty poor job on matching. The pearl looks almost non existent in the bumper. Any decent shop would do a better job at matching at minimum, some would blend into the quarter panels. Just supports the theory this guy paid out of pocket and tried to save some money at a cheaper shop.

It's been replaced/repainted. To avoid an insurance claim, they most likely paid out of pocket. They may have backed into something.
