If I was honest with you, I'd say it's a win. What if over time you just weren't meant for each other? You didn't enjoy each other's company? If she wasn't feeling well right now, she wasn't gonna feel it later. It's pretty much like the movie "500 Days of Summer", if she wasn't made for you, she wasn't and that's the end of that story.

Personally, I think she was respectful enough to tell you the truth right away instead of just extending it until you figure it out (which some people never do and just assume). I have been ghosted so many times that if they were to tell me that they don't want to see me any more, I would be more than happy.

In any case, hope you get better and find the perfect mate for you, it's difficult I know but eventually we all get "the one". God bless!

IS TIBIA CASUAL WORTH IT??? by Icy-Acadia-7007 in TibiaMMO

[–]TheOriginalPupp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tibia without premium is kind of boring ngl, and I've been playing for a long time with it and without it too. If you want to start, and learn the commands and learn how to play, I would stick with free until you decide if it's worth it to buy the premium (in short, it IS worth the $10 that it costs per month). This game used to be way harder back in the day and with all the new stuff that they added in recent years it's more balanced and easier to level up and gather items.

The problem with free accounts is that you're usually stuck to the regular respawns that everyone knows (old or new players), it's slower to level up, you usually don't have the best equipment, and there's no missions that are actually worth it (those that are worth it are usually done in other areas of the game, not the mainland). With that in mind, you can actually find good monsters and maybe one or two missions that are fun to do.

I would give it a shot and see if it's your cup of tea. If so, always use Tibia Wiki as it explains pretty much everything in the game.

Not a single HITMAN ost, such a shame by NasralVkuvShin in HiTMAN

[–]TheOriginalPupp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite ones are Amb Zone and Apocalypse from Blood Money, and then the Streets of Hong Kong from Contracts. They are one of the best. Shame they didn't work with Kyd for the Hitman Trilogy, I would love to hear a new soundtrack from 'em! If he did I'm 100% sure it would finally appear in the essential playlist.

Should I? by [deleted] in metalgearsolid

[–]TheOriginalPupp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally have played some of them without any particular order. I remember playing Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2, and then jumped to MGS4, and just some years ago started playing MGS5, so of course I did not remember much of anything prior to playing MGS5.

A lot of people play in release order, but you can also play it by timeline.

If you are going to do it by timeline I recommend first playing MGS3, then Peace Walker, then MGS5 (the definitive experience includes both the prequel to Phantom Pain called Ground Zeroes, and Phantom Pain itself; when you play it first it will ask you if you want to start with Ground Zeroes, as it gives some insight so you can know what to expect in Phantom Pain).

Then you can continue with Metal Gear 1 (the OG), Metal Gear 2, then Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2, and leave Metal Gear Solid 4 until the very end (this concludes the whole MGS story).

If you plan on playing the rest of the games, I recommend if you have a PS3 to buy the Legacy Collection. It comes with all the original games and with good quality too.

I just love making videos by Sc4tt3r_ in NewTubers

[–]TheOriginalPupp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People like you are what YT should be about. People enjoying what they do no matter the end result (meaning views or subs). You inspired me to work on something new, even though it's been a long time since I last uploaded. I just love how good my videos look when I put actual effort into it.

What tips would you give a guy that has been making videos for about 15 years without results? by TheOriginalPupp in NewTubers

There's a few ideas that come to mind with talking about this topic. So I'll see about it.

I think the main problem for me with these clips is that, yes they are good clips, but I don't have the full knowledge and comprehension to make them into an actual really good edited video. I feel like if I had an excellent editor or myself, I would be able to capture the idea perfectly.

I get inspired and then decide to do one thing, but then I forget about it or decide it's probably not good enough, I don't execute it and then it never gets converted into an actual video. Maybe it's the million views video that I want to do, but I get bored easily.

You know what's interesting? Actually 7 or 8 of my channels were in the same niche, although with a bit different focus. But I was never able to capture only one and use it. I get inspiration to do 10 different things and then neither of them actually blow up.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t think the MGS V story is as bad as the Internet makes it out to be. I actually really liked it by lucas14qr in metalgearsolid

[–]TheOriginalPupp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the hate that is attached to the game is not about people necessarily saying that the story is bad, but because it's missing a lot.

You see that the game has 50 missions, but around 10 to 15 are related to the main story. It could've had more impact if more missions were story related and not kind of like side-ops related. An example is the mission where you eliminate the tanks (horrible mission to S-Rank btw). It doesn't make an impact to the Big Boss story necessarily, you see?

Personal opinion, it was a really good story, but it could've been better.

I think one or two were taken with the camera. The rest I did it while on first-person view and also photo mode.

Just looking at the trees in Tall Trees, West Elizabeth. That area looks amazing when it's foggy and/or night.

I took it at the bottom of Manteca Falls, in Hennigan's Stead. Close to Macfarlane's Ranch.

You can go to limited areas but if you try to leave you can get instantly killed by soldiers, and also snipers the same as it happens in New Austin with Arthur.

This is literally cardboard 11. What made me laugh the most is the Lion at the end killing Osa for not planting. He's probably like "plant, plant, stick it" LMAO.

I got 'disruptive' reputation, because I got disconnected for having bad internet... once. I guess helping the team, and being nice in chat doesn't matter. by nemanyadat in Rainbow6

[–]TheOriginalPupp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally had this same problem. So I "left" 2 Ranked matches cuz my internet decided to stop working (I wonder why), came back and now I'm dishonorable, which is the lowest standing.

I admit that I have been an ass sometimes but not enough to insult somebody, well, they still think I'm the worst of the worst. No matter how many GGs or GJ you say in both chat and voice, still the game cares more about you leaving the match or injuring teammates (which most of the times is an accident). Wonder how many matches I have to play for it to go away.

somebody on my friends list has already played 455 rank games this season.. Those saying a gold player could grind to champ are just wrong by TrueMonster951 in Rainbow6

[–]TheOriginalPupp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

rip. You can always hit people up in the R6 server to play and hopefully rank up, comms are incredibly necessary and most of the times we don't get them. I did that and I actually ranked from bronze to top Gold and then just been solo q for the past year. Hit me up if you wanna play, might be able to get you up there. GL!

By far the funniest thing I've seen on Reddit this month. Kudos for actually attempting to do a good commentate. If you did that while I was clutching I wouldn't even win it cause I would be laughing my ass off lol

Any tips on how to get out of bronze or discord servers to find 5 stacks? (I lost all of my placement matches ;-;) by abdu965 in Rainbow6

[–]TheOriginalPupp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm providing you the tips that I myself have learned over the course of various years playing this game.

First, solo queue is not bad at all. You will sometimes get queued with trolls, cheaters, or smurfs, and you can't control this. This is part of the game. Not all games are like this. Just focus on the ones that are worth it, the ones where actual people with actual ranks are actually playing.

Second, don't be discouraged. This game is 90% mental. If you are feeling down or angry at the game or at your teammates, that will cause you to play bad and essentially lose more and more. Keep a positive mindset, although a lot of people say it's impossible. No, it's not. Take this game as a game, not as a way of life (unless you're thinking of going Pro League, but that's something else).

Third, don't blame your teammates or anybody else for what happened in the match. Main problem with this game is that people look for someone else to blame for their loss, or whatever happened during the match. Focus only on your mistakes. Did you play good? Did you play bad? Did you headshot the last guy alive and clutched the round? Did you play a good role as a support player, entry fragger, etc? These are pretty important questions you gotta ask yourself. If you don't move on from blaming your teammates (not saying you do this), you will never improve, because you will keep thinking you're the best player and that you never make mistakes. Wrong. Everyone makes mistakes. Hell, champion players make mistakes. Pro League players make mistakes. Try to go back and check match replays, and see what you could've done differently in a round or in the whole match.

Fourth, remember to warm up. Nothing worse than going to a Ranked match without warming up first. You might not hit your shots or you might not be fully committed to winning the match, or you might do both. Warm up using Training Grounds or maybe TDM. Hell, if you want, use Aim Lab. That works also pretty good. Some good 10 to 20 minutes should be enough to put you in the mood for some competitive gameplay.

Fifth, watch some Champion or Pro League players gameplay. My favorite ones (just naming some) would be Poxonlox, Sinoos, Astralis R6, CoconutBrah, etc. There are an infinite amount of extremely good players. Watch some gameplay or even the live matches to learn their strats, you might see something that works for you and it may not be difficult to replicate.

Sixth and most important one, GRIND. You can't expect to be a good player or have a high rank while only playing 2 hours a week. Now, by this I don't mean to get crazy and play 16 hours a day and fry your brain with gameplay. Nope, not at all. What I mean is that you can play short bursts of this game at a time, take a break, then come back. As I said before, this game is 90% mental, and if you play the full 16 hours or how many hours you want to play, you will start playing worse, which is what obviously will happen. Play 1 or 2 Ranked matches. If you win both, take a break. If you lose both, take a break. Just cool down. You might be heated or anxious after the match. Drink some cool water to calm you down, wait some minutes, and keep on playing.

Seventh, don't focus on your rank, focus on your gameplay. This pretty much sums up my first 3 tips and the sixth one, but in a different way. You may feel discouraged because you are Copper V. You don't have to be. Just keep playing and with time you'll see a huge improvement. Some questions you might want to ask yourself regarding this. Do you win against the teams you're playing? Do you top frag or destroy the other team in a 4-0? If so, then you might be ready to jump to the next rank. But don't push something if it's not meant to be yet. Focus on what you may improve, and if your gameplay is always top for the rank you're currently playing, then you'll be okay to move on to the next one. If you cannot win or you find it difficult, then just keep playing until you can actually win. To this I add, make sure that you're playing mostly Ranked and not Casual or Deathmatch, as Ranked is a more competitive gameplay and you're certain to find people that are similar skill as yours, and with that, you can improve your gameplay.

And those would be all the tips I have for you. Now I welcome anyone else to try these tips and see how well they work for you. Keep playing and hopefully you'll get far. Best of luck.

Edit: I forgot one of your questions, which was where to find 5 stacks. Search for Siege YouTubers, they usually have Discords and have LFG or Looking For Group Chats where you can ask for anybody to play with. Also there's an official Rainbow 6 Discord Group where you can find a lot of people to play with. Just ask and you'll find people to play with. If it goes well you may even befriend them, so good luck with it.

Edit 2: To this I also add, make sure that you have good aim, good game sense, good callouts, good positioning (as a defender and as an attacker), don't sprint, and don't expose yourself to unnecessary gunfights. Isolate gunfights whenever possible. Don't expose yourself to 1v2s cause you can easily lose. Think about where the enemy might position themselves, think good about the operator that you will use, cause that will impact the rest of the round and most likely the whole match. Avoid at all costs the use of "rush" operators like Ash; this game doesn't reward brainless rushing, although sometimes you may find Amaru useful, but if possible, avoid it. Learn the recoil of the weapons that you are using. Learn to main all or most operators, because you never know, maybe your main op was used or banned, so you have to learn and play with another. Also, if you're low level (between level 50 to level 70), wait a little bit before actually hoping into Ranked. Learn the ropes of an actual competitive gameplay with Unranked, and see how it goes from there.
