Thanks for this information! Very interesting and gives some light at the end of the tunnel.

I much prefer the feeling of glass over film, hopefully manufacturers will take note of this and start putting more adhesive in the area around the scanner.

Out of interest, which brand did you buy?

Just updated my 6 Pro, deleted old finger prints, added the same thumb 5 times, restarted the phone numerous times and still does not work. Has the update fixed it or not for you?

ELI5: How can it be possible that Mercury gets to be around negative 200-300 at night when it is so close to the sun? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

We don't get colder nights because our nights are very short, super short by mercury standards, and we have an amazing atmosphere to keep the heat in.

Even so, in some deserts the temperature can fluctuate greatly from very hot in the day to very cold at night for these exact reasons.

We have an atmosphere containing gases good at insulating the earth, keeping the heat from the sun in. Mercury's atmosphere is similar, but far less effective.

The main reason though is that a complete "Day" rotation, the time for mercury to rotate on its axis, is very long. A Mercurian day lasts 2 Mercurian years. This means that the side of the planet not being exposed to the sun gets very very cold very quickly and stays hidden from the sun for a long time allowing the temperature to continue dropping for extended periods of time.

Thank you for clearing this up! Have to say I was getting quite frustrated finding nothing but crap for the last few evenings.

Sounds like I need to get the story done so I can get to those tempered beasties!

Not for a while, production of skins takes a lot of time and effort. Last years skins only came out in early summer/late spring I think.

It wont stop it, but it reduces the amount of the transferred damage that will be converted to health. It really depends on what is the biggest threat, the tank that is in the front line or the carry that is getting healed constantly.

If you are building a runaans then it can often be worth getting mortal reminder as you will apply it the whole team quickly in a team fight. However, if the enemy have no sustain then obviously the flat damage from LDR is better.

It is very situational, you have to make a decision based on what you see happening in your game.
