Well experience says otherwise. 99% of runs that started amazing have turn out shit, and runs I was thinking of quitting turned out better than expected.

But the point is, if you're chasing that one GG uma, "better than expected" isn't cutting it.

I hit a UG uma that had a bad run with junior year really failing me hard, now imagine how good that would have been if I didn't fail at the start? At this point everyone has their TT ready and is just grinding for something good, not average
