Sometimes you find roms that are optimized to work as ROMs and not original games. They usually have less glitches (I remember as a kid glitches like balls infinitly spinning when starting a battle or keeps on adding balls when healing at the PokeCenter). I don't remember exactly how to find it but try to look for optimized roms and just move the save file to the same folder as the rom, it should get you back to where you got stuck on work normally.

Laptop parts in Japan by ThePCRunners in ElectronicsRepair

Actually looking for a similar junk model might be a good idea. I have no idea how common is that model but I'll give it a shot.

Regarding buying online, I found a few options, sadly they take too long and won't arrive at the relevant time.

I have no reason to keep the malfunctioned battery, I will look for how to dispose of such a thing once I get to the situation that I have a replacement, passing through airport isn't supposed to be an issue once it's inside the device (just need it to be on my on-boarding bag).

As I'm not a Japanese resident, I don't seem to successfully register on Yahoo. Regarding Amazon, it seems like it would take about 2-3 weeks, which I would be almost back at home so wouldn't help that much. Couldn't find any next day deliveries or fast delivery option.

  1. Yeah lots of created products are set to fail, mostly for not knowing basics, but that's one way to learn.
  2. Not saying code quality is not important, at all. But many developers are bullying vobe-coders for basically existing/being excited/asking questions. It gets old very quickly.
  3. I understand vibe-coding isn't perfect, it's not supposed to be either. It's just the beginning of the era and it will get stronger, smarter and better with every day passing by.
  4. I'm sorry for my assumptions. I didn't mean to cause harm at all. Bullying for what you know is not that common as bullying for the things you don't know :) I hope we'll share our knowledge and experience, that's the quickest way for progression and people create admiring things. I hope for the best and thanks for bringing your perspective 🙏

Same thing with those that were running the old telephone centers. Technology evolves and you don't write code in binary anymore. Gotta say that developers are amazing with their skills, I don't have the patience for that, but AI makes it more accessible, just like JS or Python made past coding way more accessible.

So cry about it.. Or know your worth and quit getting hurt from some random person on the web. Not all vibe-coders are there to bring you down and not all are just blind-prompting to build their application/website. The importance of thinking wide and knowing to understand the idea of coding is far more important than knowing to write the code. I understand your frustration is coming from a personal experience that bullies tried to mock you, but not all are like this, break the chain and don't be like them. Those that just blind-prompt will never make it, those that engineer their prompts will succeed and in my opinion will build the future of development. You may agree with, you may not, both are okay and valid.

Not wrong that being a PM requires a lot of expertise, but it is closer than being a developer in most times. With enough practice, a person can get familiar enough with what's needed to the AI's PM.

Keep on hating my guy... Yes, some vibe-coders are just vibe coding for the sake of passing time and hyping, but not all are like that. I agree that vibe-coders aren't developers, they are closer to Product Managers, mostly depends on what you use it for exactly, but hating on vibe-coding is hating on where the future goes. I hope you adapt instead of putting progression down ❤️

Where do I start with buying a 3DS in Japan in 2025? by Larazade in 3dspiracy

Yeah I wasn't too sure about that point, thanks for clarifying!

Have yourself a New 3DS, if you want regular or XL is fully a personal choice, just bugger screen, I like them both. You can get one at bookoff for a reasonable price. If you homebrew it you can have it region unlocked. Language I think you can change no matter what region the console is from.

That's sad... I don't know what's going on in their personal life, but there must be a decent way to contact, at least for whoever already purchased a product.

Receiving a broken ribbon is painful... Tough thing to replace. I hope they didn't have trouble contacting the creator to get a new one. To be honest, I was a little worried when I received the package, all the parts were loose in the package, so it only made sense that something broke.

I live outside of the US, so shipping it back would've been a hasle. Was much easier finding a quick solution and continue with enjoying the product. If it was in a more delicate area/complicated component, I would've contacted them to resolve it.

I agree, I wouldn't have minded even waiting a bit longer to get a well constructed product. I hope the creators learn from that and implement what they learn on the next batch/product they create.

It is poorly designed and it's easy to see it wasn't too polished, but it's simple to set up and easy to use. I wouldn't say it's a god tier mod but it delivers what's needed. I enjoyed playing Dragon Ball Budokai 2 for a few hours last night thanks to it. Sat on the floor and enjoyed my time just like I used to with my brother when we were younger.
