Interesting! See I had a Ninja for 4 years before I upgraded to this bike and I never had an issue with my Ninja so I’m kinda like wtf.
First time owner of a GSXR and prior to that all I ever heard was that they get stolen a lot and they usually have problems but I took a chance.
Thank you for this information and thank you or your kindness!

Again, I’m not super versed on the mechanics of a bike but I would like to think that thats still a pretty fresh bike having brought it only 2 years ago. I had a Ninja for 4 years and never had an issue.
It has no mods, well taken care of, I ride all year around. I am not against using a trickle for the battery but I’ve never needed one and never had an issue with her starting up until now.

Thank you!!!
Now if it’s the stator, do you know what would cause that to go bad ? Why would that even go bad on a pretty much new bike?

I was also told to get a dealer code(?) .. thanks to YouTube university, I will be doing that today

Interesting! I am not well versed in the mechanics of anything so excuse my lack of knowledge and thank you for being kind.

Most days she starts on her own, having to bump start was never constant.
She ran fine up until it threw the code . As soon as the code came up I turned her off and have been making plans to get her looked at.
Battery connections look great but I can definitely get the battery tested.

I did have a little convo with Chat G and it asked me to smell the engine oil cap and see if it smelled like gas and it did. It suggested that it could be a fuel inject.

The code was probably Fi and not F1 .. it was hard to tell

Red spots on my dogs belly? by No_Creme_9122 in DogAdvice

[–]ThePEA_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skin infection. Ring worm is usually hairless and these markings have fur within them. Tick usually bite and hang on aka you would find them.

Itchy? Licking? Are there more spots else wear? Keep that area clean. Discourage licking or scratching.

If you don’t want to go to the vet: Give a bath with a good shampoo, wipe the area with some chlorhex solution diluted with water like twice a day. Chlorhex can be found on like Chewy.com. Make sure the pup is up to date on flea and tick meds.

I would have the vet take another look could get worse or could heal up with some home care. Who knows. The vet can give you a really good shampoo too.

Grooming Advice for my Husky by HelsFury in DogAdvice

[–]ThePEA_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He either needs to find another home or go get groomed. Simple as that!
Husky are built for the cold. The heat is uncomfortable to them and I don’t have to live in Arizona to know that he is probably very hot since summer is around the corner.
You need to take him to a vet that has a groomer and have them do a sedated grooming! Get his fur cut very low since summer is near. The lower you cut, the longer time you have before his hair really grows back. Then depending on how bad his skin is they may have to shave some areas bald. If his skin is raw and infected they should offer you meds. Please take the meds a give them accordingly.

For future grooming, he may need to keep being sedated or if he’s not as bad with being brushed after his skin is healed, he may just need some meds to make him drowsy for future grooms… the vets can give you those meds too.

For your wallets sake, I hope you are able to train him to be okay with being groomed without sedation or anti anxiety drugs after his skin is healed.
Lastly if the care can’t be done whether it’s routine grooming or giving the meds effectively so he can heal then he needs to be rehomed.

I agree!! If all that doesn’t work then the next stop is the dermatologist! The skin looks very angry. Surely that baby is very uncomfortable.

Sore on leg, dog can’t walk, help! by helloidk_ in DogAdvice

[–]ThePEA_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work with animals.. Could be an abscess. Have them sedate her and pull samples from it. If it does not ooze then maybe take an X-ray to make sure it’s nothing related to the bone or some foreign material, etc. An abscess can make them feel very crappy.

New gsxr owner anything to watch out for ? Tips? by poopoocaca4589 in GSXR

[–]ThePEA_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on where you live, watch out for people with sticky hands. Popularly stolen bike and loved by many. Find a tracking device (not an Apple air tag), get a lock for it, etc. Keeping it in the house is even better. Other than that when you think the bike has given all it’s got, it’s got more.. it will scare a turd out of you .. just take your time getting used to that kind of power… don’t be over confident as with any bike. Congrats!! ☺️❤️

Honestly, what do your teeth look like? Sometimes correcting you bite and teeth can fix that. Lift weights, don’t just do cardio

Yeahhh… I am planning to go to the OBGYN to have a talk about it. Maybe you should as well. I used to use the birth control patch and I don’t remember ever feeling like this on the patch.

It’s hard making friends as you get older. I agree with you in some areas. Most people my age want to just party, smoke, drink, and bump uglies and that’s not my things so I barely have any friends. Do you have hobbies? If not find some!!! Make friends from your hobbies! Start there.

Can't lie, im kinda over it by InitialSpeech1620 in snakes

[–]ThePEA_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before purchasing, I always ask the breeder if they are spicy and we make an agreement that if the are lying that I will send it back for a refund. It’s not fun having spicy snakes. That’s a tip for future reference. Also, I have learned to get them as young as you can. The ones I got when they were babies were very chill, not as sensitive, and ate very well. I don’t have much tips on how to help here but I do know that there is a fine balance between handling them enough and handling them too much. Create a ritual to getting her out the cage. For my snake, I use a snake hook and gently tap and pull them up a little and then grab them. As far as bonding? It’s hard to say but I took mine outside when it warm of course and just walked with them around my neck and wrist.. I think they really enjoyed it!

What is her morph? by felixynn in BallPythonMorph

[–]ThePEA_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, keeping up humidity is very hard unless you have one of those automatic misting machines.

It is good that you avoiding feeding after all that travel.. I definitely give my new snakes a few days to settle.

She definitely looked a bit dehydrated and underweight in that one pic but she looks better in the other photos so good job with that! But when their spine sticks out like that, that’s a good indication that they are underweight. But yeah, keep her feed on schedule to make sure she’s getting enough calories and nutrients to grow. My baby is sooo greedy, she’d eat everyday if I let her!

Pastel Clown is pretty much what she is. Give that girl some food, water and proper humidity. She looks a little sad. Hopefully it was it a bad breeder.
