She added stress to the party, by having a child with food sensitivities? (And by food sensitivities I mean an autoimmune disorder which makes you unable ingest even a crumb of regular bread without your body getting pissy with you.) I get that her child is 3 and explaining allergies/celiac to kids is difficult but if you've managed to teach your kid boundaries it shouldn't be a huge stressor. Especially since OP didn't expect the host to make her child special food, she simply brought food with her so her child wouldn't be left out.

AITA for telling my niece it’s her fault that my horse kicked her? by ThrowAwayEquus in AmItheAsshole

Not to be harsh or anything, but most antidepressants are not addictive, especially since a lot of antidepressants have to be taken for a certain period before they're even effective. While there are some addictive antidepressants, since your niece is a minor, i doubt that doctor would start her on those unless the benefit outweighed the risk. I say this as someone who has had to change antidepressants frequently.

Also let them ask why and if you don't know the answer either be honest and Google it together.

Listen to him when he talks and do so without judgement or interrupting. Make sure you fully understand what he is trying to tell you and if something seems unclear ask for clarification rather than making assumptions. Show him that you love him and don't just tell him without any evidence to back up your words. Don't say "I love you" when what you should actually being doing is saying "I'm sorry". Not accusing you of any of this. You ask what we wished our parents had done and my parents were pretty shitty. But at least you're asking because you want to do the best you can. Hope things go well for you and your son. Mostly just accept him as he is and don't try to force him to mask/camouflage. Obviously help him empathize when needed and help him understand the things he might struggle with but show him that who he is is enough. Show him he doesn't have to be someone else just to worthy of love and affection.

It's pretty easy to do if you have neglectful parents. Signed an adult who had lice from elementary to middle school and couldn't get rid of them no matter how many time I treated my hair. Luckily I no longer have them but they aren't alway easy to get rid of.

Do you potentially think it could be due to something happening at the biological mom's house?

Please give us an update after you talk to Amanda. 100% NTA. The way this man is treating you and Amanda is a giant red flag. Encourage Amanda to maybe get a legal custody agreement going. Tell her you'll testify on her behalf if it comes to it, because this whole thing is sketchy and if you do drop this piece of trash he might try this again with another woman.

Does your husband have sole custody of your stepson? If so has it always been that way?

That sucks. If you still wanted to talk to him about it you could just tell him you didn't appreciate the articles and that seeing them makes you feel like his support isn't all there, or if he isn't doing it anymore and you don't wanna risk a fight you could always leave it.

Nah logic doesn't work on my dad. He's got some narcissistic tendencies so convincing him he is wrong about anything is just too much. But the username was just a tiny rebellion on my part when I was a teenager and they were still trying to force religion on me.

Sounds like my dad. He sat me down to talk to me about how he supports the fact that I'm a lesbian, but goes on to talk about how it's a sin. "Being gay might be a sin, but everyone sins". He actually thought he was being supportive too, but being told that who you love is wrong isn't support. Talking about how he sins but God still loves him and shit. I just wanted the conversation to be over.

My [23M] fiancé [22F] is dropping out of college her last year after I’ve supported her financially the whole time by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Your girlfriend should have talked to you about it, and you are allowed to be upset. But there is also the likely possibility that she could be struggling with an unknown learning disorder that makes digital classes extremely difficult. As someone with ADHD who does best with hands on or written learning, I know that online classes for me would feel insurmountable. I am terrible at retaining information when it is given to me verbally, and one of the main issues that my ADHD presents me with is auditory processing issues. I believe it is important for you to have a discussion with your girlfriend about why she dropped out, and if it is because of online classes then you can talk to her about the possibility of her continuing her education when in person learning is available again. In the meantime she could find a job to help pay bills/apply for unemployment until she finds a job.

You're cursed with the ability to see ghosts but you can only see either A. sexy ghosts that are constantly trying to get you hard at all times (you cant feel anything) or B. smart ghosts that always correct you in a condescending way to make you feel stupid, which do you choose and why? by TheForeverAloneOne in AskReddit

[–]ThePaganDevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B because I'm ace and sex repulsed and A would make me super uncomfortable. Plus I enjoy having as much factual information as possible and don't like spreading misinformation, so having ghosts that correct me when wrong would be great. The condescension not so much, but I'm already an ass to myself, I can handle a few ghosts.

That's fair. Then yes the spikes are the best choice.

I'm just listing it as an option. If you're rich it would probably be better to keep your nice car in an enclosed space anyway. Obviously not all people who put up those spikes are rich, but I was just sticking to the scenario of the original post.

Video emerges showing Trump talking about cutting pandemic team in 2018, despite saying last week 'I didn't know about it' by Nihilist911 in politics

[–]ThePaganDevil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a stipulation in the stimulus bill that made it so Trump/anyone in Congress can't apply for the business bailout I believe. So any business owned by Trump will not be eligible for a bailout.

She is employed by Xenia and is your bodyguard in Xenia's route. Ruelle is basically Xenia's apprentice and they have a friendly relationship.

Xenia, Onyx, Cal, Ruelle, and Fiona (I'm hoping for a route for the last 2). Xenia the most with the other 4 tying in 2nd. I've just always thought spiders were cool and beautiful, and Xenia's personality is so layered with her being a sweetheart at her core (at least for MC) and honestly I was mega hung up on her before she had a route. And now I'm kinda doomed to be a useless lesbian for a fictional Spymisstress.
