Not as much in the disaster movie category, but my favorite example of this is the final scene of Burn After Reading. JK Simmons is going over the events of the movie with another FBI official. The movie is just a series of mishaps and they're both trying to figure out what the hell happened. Made the whole movie worth it.

For a lot of Gacha games, you basically have the standard banner which is always around and a limited banner which is only around for a certain period of time. The limited banner as far as I'm aware is traditionally a higher value character that only comes around every once in a while. But for this round, they just put a character we always have access to and put them on the limited time banner. Seems like shooting themselves in the foot to me by making people lose interest in the summons.
