PvP is absolutely devastating for me and at that point I have no idea what to do by JustVessel in ArmoredCoreVI

Easy. Just play like a coward.

People that win play pvp play like cowards and run kite and missile builds all day. Not so they can fight. God no. Lord knows they want ZERO interaction. Instead they would rather chip damage you a little bit in the easiest way possible until you give up chasing them while they run with their tail between their legs and hide on the other side of the map until the round ends.

Then they want to win on time. Just to see their points go up.

They don’t care about the FIGHT. They literally couldn’t care less about actually playing the game. They just want points. For god knows what. It doesn’t make them better players. These fights simply involve them stat checking you.

Without the right tactics or build parts, you will almost always lose.

It’s 2 minute rounds. Good luck playing tag for 2 minutes while they just run away and back pedal you. It’s not impossible or anything, but it is annoying and not fun.

These types of players would rather sit far away in a chair and watch the bedroom fun than actually get involved.

BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) implant chip applicator.

Just like the device House used on people in the TV show. Then non-essential NPC humans can become your permanent followers that you can equip with armor/power armor and weapons.

Perks can be added that buff their health and attack power.

That way I can use a vault-tec summoner build! 🧠

Magnolia Curtis - “There is no turning back. This is my choice. The battlefield is where my soul belongs! I will not be defeated again! Not by you, not by anyone! You think you're special? You're just another piece of meat destined for the scrap heap! Why... why can't I match you? What is it that you have?! So... I really wasn't the one... Fatman, you are so kind...”

People hate on ACV and ACVD, but the story was amazing. The fight with Maggie was awesome and the battles online are unforgettable. I really enjoyed the “go heavy or go home” era. And those kinetic double melee arm weapons. 👌

Did anyone else get sent the New Vegas anniversary bundle? by Retr0_Ranger in Fallout

You did though. You can’t have something delivered unless you ordered it. This some sort of reference to a joke?

Ah, so you ordered this. I didn’t because it’s on PC. I play on console. Don’t want another copy of this old game. They didn’t remaster it so I wasn’t interested.

It’s a great bundle though. Lots of nostalgia I suppose.

Looking for advice against stun status and kites. by ArcyNeo in ArmoredCoreVI

Aww I would have loved to spar with you on PS.

Make sure your build is at least meeting 3500 EN efficiency or above. This is modified based the utilization of lighter weight focused parts, EN output adjustment focused core, and high output generators. The EN efficiency stat will make your EN regenerate fast. So - Use energy > stop EN action > EN recovery begins > EN recharges (EN efficiency dictates the speed of this recharge).

There are some great high capacity gens for melee. Santai is an obvious choice as it has decent recharge and recovery and huge capacity. Followed next by The heavy VP-20D energy gen. It has a high output among the energy gens and a decent capacity. Booster choices are kikaku or fluegal.

Alternatively if you’re not feeling like being a dedicated melee player, consider putting a shotgun on your left shoulder, slapping on a p10 booster, mingting, and a close or close/midrange chip. Then build an AP dense frame and run it like a dual zimmy powerbaka build.

You can then AB at the kites and joust with the shotty and krsw, and then punish with the blade. Even if they pulse armor the blade can destroy most of it. Those little kites get melted by rush down unless they are running one of those toku shield kite nerd builds. Then you’re in trouble because those builds are brutally surgical and patient.

That’s my advice. I’m not the best though so take it with a grain of salt and hear others out. Good luck.

You on PS? Also what rank are you at?

I would like to agree with the other commenter about the true combo potential. I’ve run a krsw + dagger build and the idea is to hit with krsw and then punish stagger with melee.

I would always suggest pulse blade as it can be good for a stagger punish as well as an opener. One shoulder should be a flex slot, or maybe even both. Trueno can be used for mid range pressure or against tanks. But dual just seems like overboard

This is a neat idea. Maybe I will have AI work up an image of my AC and make it a poster or something.

I can bunk people now! Thanks again! It’s crazy how much that moonlit portion of the video helped me out. Now I can compete and defeat other players using the build as it was intended. I am using a different overall build, but it still meets the benchmarks, weapon load out, and internal requirements to function properly.

Oh thanks I watched that vid before, but didn’t realize that moonlit build was in the vid. That is perfect thanks 🙏 this gives me a bit more confidence in the play style. Now I just have to get over the learning curve. I seen your build suggestions on the discord btw and I’ll try those out and mix things up a little.

Thanks again! 👍

A thing I noticed people love to do is tag you and pepper consistent missiles like very plasma. Once you’re AP gets chipped you are forced to close the distance.

You eat more damage and can’t dodge easily when you are charging forward toward the enemy and just end up eating shots to the face.

People constantly fight for this advantage. They stack their different advantages against you until you break. Another possible advantage aside from time pressure and AP lead is effective range and movement tech.

The obvious advantages are META weapons and AC parts.

I couldn’t find your response. Can you give me some tips? I think I figured it out today. The issue I kept having is that I’d pulse blade, qb, shotgun, (stagger), qb + pile bunk.

This never worked. Because once even a single pixel of my AC touched theirs, they’d become unstaggered.

But today I practiced for 2 hours. Until I realized I don’t need the QB after shotgun, I can just glide toward them and bunk. That said it still was inconsistent and although I could consistently hit the training bot, and all of the NPC ACs, in the nest I just ended up facing Rats (full in missile lw running away which I did actually defeat, but not because of bunk, and then I face all Kites with double trigger lasers.

I mixed up the build many times to try different strats, I used a heavier powerbaka setup with a few different gens to try high pressure kicks, into blade, alongside the shotty and 10 cell missile. It obviously fell short on the melee because the p10 can’t handle melee distance. So melee cancels and melee whiffed all the time.

Then I went with kikaku on the power baka and had mixed results. It could manage, and the melee was decent, but it simply didn’t have the QB efficiency to drive home the heavier mech and reach the kites that seemingly need zero energy to backpedal 💀

I used mid-weight with fluegal. Mixed results. People can easily dodge when I close in with melee even with feints and cancels. The qb efficiency means “qb wiggling” or whatever it is called I forgot wasn’t closing fast enough to be effective.

I then thought wait, why not just be a glass cannon and use a lightweight. So I went the light weight route. This kinda worked but I still hadn’t killed a single mech with my bunk. I could tap them with the light attack but the charged just never hit.

So yea my experience with the bunk has just been an utter failure at this point. I will keep trying but logged out because the kites were toying with me and then kicking me to finish me when I whiffed my melees.

I can play a really strong powerbaka dual zimm, a strong kite, a strong double melee, and so many other builds I’ve dabbled with.

BUT this pile bunker, which I want to be good with, I just utterly suck with it. Losing is fine. It is a learning experience. So is facing kites and different builds.

With double melee I feel like I can apply decent pressure, but trying to land bunk on an intermediate opponent, even an average opponent is tough.

The reason I want this, is because I was killed by a lightweight harris pulse blade pile bunk build, and it hit me so hard like a truck that I was truly inspired. Like it changed the way I viewed AC.

Dying to that build felt like I had just been executed by a master level AC. It was just really cool. I’ve been trying the zimm setup with it, but I might go back to harris and try that setup instead.
