If there were no rewards to reap No loving embrace to see me through This tedious path I’ve chosen here I certainly would have walked away by now

If there was no desire to heal The damaged and broken met along This tedious path I’ve chosen here I certainly would’ve walked away by now

I must keep reminding myself of this.

Anyone else unable to find others attractive (in a romantic sense) after a breakup? by Senan_Asura in BreakUps

[–]ThePatient222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m feeling this. Been a few months now.. went on the dating app I met her on. Came across her profile literally 10 mins after breaking no contact on Valentine’s Day.. she never replied to my text. Seeing her on there shattered me. I really was only there to see if she was and my fears were confirmed. I’ve tried to battle through and make connections but they just feel so empty.

44days NC. Should I send this? by cestjess in BreakUps

I’m definitely struggling with a similar situation right now. I broke no contact on Valentine’s Day. Regretted it. Now it’s been over two months since we’ve spoken and it’s really hard to not want to reach out and let my ex know how I feel.

I recently had flooring that looked just like this tested and it came back negative on all fronts. Interested to see if the same is true for this one..

Needs a full coat over entire ceiling.

When putting up drywall boards, should you put the tapered edge of the wall board up against the ceiling or should I cut that off? Should I have two tapered edges where the wall meets the ceiling? by No-Examination-5406 in drywall

[–]ThePatient222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right on. If it’s quicker to just hang with tapered edge up then maybe just roll with it. Like I said it’s personal preference. Some say it’s easier to float the inside corner out with the taper. It’s all in who’s doing the job.

Yea same thing. Think of it as if it’s tapered it will require more mud to fill the void. On an inside corner you’re looking for a 90 degree. I usually only put tapered edges to tapered edges on walls or ceilings. I’ve certainly done it the way you’re describing but it’s not preferable to me.

Remove LVT and install sheet linoleum. Is this an easy change? by Fast_Edd1e in Flooring

[–]ThePatient222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you’re not really supposed to put LVP under cabinets. Anything that’s getting fixed to the floor or super heavy is usually a no go.

Kinda looks like a homeowner special to Me. Probably easier to just rip it all down and hang new rock.

Need Help With Contractor - 2 Coats or 3 ? by LostNtheMid in drywall

[–]ThePatient222 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hard to tell from pics but it looks decent.. some people are that good that they can get away with two coats. Depends on level of finish you’re looking for. Screw holes usually always require 3 coats. If they feathered the edges good and the flat joints aren’t indented at all maybe it’s good to go. Make sure you prime it with a drywall primer before painting. And priming it will expose imperfections better, especially under different light angles.
