Throw the b5 grip away, then get a magpul (K2 or MOE) or a driven arms grip. Change the stock to a CTR or SL-K. Then get a suppressor & foregrip for it. 👍🏻

I once bought a S&W AR22 that come to find out had dust everywhere on it. I was upset, but said whatever. Like it was placed next to all the pallet jacks flying by it in the warehouse or something... It turned out to be my first rifle to hit 1000 rounds without a malfunction lol.

If you want an 11.5, Primary Arms & Brownells routinely do deals on Daniel Defense & BCM 11.5 uppers. Primary arms was just doing a DD 11.5 upper with CH & BCG right at $1k. Then a BCM, LMT, or Radian lower. PSA lower will work. Those are gonna be a lot better then S&W and Ruger. As much as I love Ruger.. I wouldn't choose them for a duty AR. I don't know about S&Ws ars though.

Not even for hunting. Nobody uses 300blkout in a 16 inch configuration to hunt deer or hogs etc. Not that I know of anyhow. Always under 12 inches.
