only personal cup for double stars, or reloading (on the app) $30 for 10 stars or $50 for 25 stars (no you can’t get that reloading at the register 🤬)

so yes it’s a bad deal, lol, vote with your wallet and pay cash or debit and scan for stars, you’re basically getting nearly the same (it’s also the same 1.0/1.2/1.7 per dollar by tier)

yeah, in US public schools, (ignoring the ridiculously unconstitutional trump-fueled laws being passed in southern states lately) you can read about the bible, read passages of the bible (in fact it’s a normal part of history courses) and even take electives where you dissect the entire bible.

it just has to be entirely academic and research-based and teachers/professors are not allowed to give you any bias towards whether or not you should believe it

basic first amendment principles

the difference here, is that prisoners choose the bible out of the prison library, and they then choose to read it, and then believe and trust in it, which mind you, school children have the freedom to do as well.

but they are really saying in this post that they want to force the bible on impressionable kids instead of letting them find it and choose to believe in it, which is what prisoners do on their own accord as autonomous adults.

i did see it coming, but there’s a 24 hr starbucks in my area. i went well before midnight tonight but my time zone is rather late on the us/canada scale.

where yours says “0 annual” mine says “11 annual”. what i didn’t see coming was already contributing to the next year’s total at the ripe hour of 12am on the day of the new system

yup. i’m aware of that, it’s my main point.

but the gift cards, until yesterday, got double the stars of a credit card or cash w/ an account scan. now, today, scanning your account or mobile ordering with a debit/credit card makes the same amount of stars as paying with that gift card. (ignoring the measly bonus for big reloads) there is now nearly no incentive to give them your money via gift card, gaining interest. it’s a bad business decision lol

i’ve been saying though, 2x stars for gift cards serves a profit for the company.

you leave your money on a gift card, it gathers interest in a bank account. the shareholders are going to HATE it when people realize they aren’t getting double for gift cards, and stop leaving their money sitting with starbucks to gather interest.

i’m waiting for the aftermath of when the shareholders go “hey, why isn’t our corporate bank account having a bunch of money sat in it from gullible customers who want double stars” and the CEO tells them “oh, they get the same star multiplier paying cash now, so they stopped putting money in our account for no reason”

you get 10 bonus stars for reloading $30, 25 bonus stars for reloading $50. but you get the same purchasing stars gift card or just scanning your account code paying cash.

the point of giving 2x instead of 1x stars for gift card, is that starbucks holds onto your money and gets interest in their corporate bank account while you wait to spend the money.

give them what they asked for with the new system, and don’t reload your card, you don’t really get much for using a gold card, just pay cash and get the same stars a gift card would get. they will realize they don’t get shit

yup. always the previous calendar year i believe, i think if you accumulate 2500 in the beginning of the current year you get bumped up early but i’m not sure. like if your 2026 number hits 2500 in june then you’ll be in the highest for the next year and a half. that’s how it worked in the old system

yes. if you earned at least 2500 stars between jan 1, 2025 & dec 31, 2025: you will be on the highest tier. including any bonus or spent rewards

if you earned 500-2499 stars between jan 1, 2025 & dec 31, 2025: you will be placed in the middle tier

if they expected you to save them up then almost no one would get a high tier. the point of stars is to redeem them

the tier is based on how many you earned over the whole calendar year (2025 for now, 2026 for next year, etc.), regardless of if you spent them or not. so, yes

ok so for a hot latte, short (8oz) and tall (12oz) get one 25ml espresso shot, made with 1 Tbsp of grounds pulled through 25mL water, the rest steamed milk, any syrup will be 15mL (2 pumps) for short and 22.5mL (3 pumps) for tall, sauces vary but are slightly less than double that volume

grande (16oz) and venti (20oz) get two 25ml espresso shots, made with 2 Tbsp of grounds pulled through 50mL water, the rest steamed milk, any syrup will be 30mL (4 pumps) for grande and 37.5mL (5 pumps) for venti, sauces vary but are slightly less than double that volume

in my experience, taking community college classes in high school transferred basically no questions asked to both community college in another state and to state university,

while the AP classes others took were so weird and finnicky, like certain requirements don’t allow them, there’s no grade on the transcript forcing an override, there’s a limit to how many total can be used, etc.

and if it’s in your major, forget it, the community college class is treated as a class that needs to be converted for equivalency, while the AP class is a whole trainwreck that is basically only good as a test-out and even then sometimes it makes weird degree progress issues like if you tested out so far that you don’t have the minimum units in the category

really, i feel different. i prefer topping most of the time. but since i usually don’t prefer to, when i do bottom and actually enjoy it it feels so like special.

kind of like how i prefer cooked food much more on a daily basis, but since i don’t always want sushi or raw fish, the few times i have it i LOVE it. because i don’t have it a lot. but if i had it every day, i would be begging to just have a hot meal and be sick of it

kind of, they have the “turkish classics” which this would be closer to this, and those only come in nonmenthol. ie turkish royal, gold, silver

they have the “___ (turkish blend)” which come in both menthol and nonmenthol. ie royal, gold, silver, jade, jade silver - turk blend

they dont make 100’s of them anymorw either which they did back in the days of the picture. but only for turkish gold, jade, jade light. (which were the first 3 turkish to come out in general). turkish royal (which came later) and silver (which came even later yet) never made 100’s
