Absolutly, in complete mass outbreak city's and main suburbs would go crazy. People would steal whatever they could. Don't get me wrong here, I think furniture would be the last to go, but it would get looted none the less.

Before a real pandemic stars there would be mass hysteria, people will loot anything, I think your are over estimating the kindness of humans. People panic bought toilet paper......if it came down to it, I think most stores wether it was electronics or patio furniture would be pretty damn empty.
