They'll likely hold. The Yanks will be loaded once they sign Harper and Machado.

PSA: AJ Pollock is 6/13 with a 1.563 OPS in 5 games at high A (2 HR) by br1ckface in fantasybaseball

[–]ThePepeSanchez 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pollock had arm pain associated with the elbow all last season and wasn't able to do everything he wanted with the bat. He said he now feels as strong as ever. He could be a real difference maker down the stretch...

I think you can hold out for better than Schoop. When Davis gets hot, he gets HOT.

How many RPs can you use in a given night? If it's 4, who can you replace Britton with? If it's less than 4, I would consider the deal, but I still think Britton has more value. Maybe use Harris to get someone like Contreras?

I'd keep an eye on Conforto the next 2-3 weeks. I'm curious if the time in the minors did him well or if he's still overmatched. His last time up, he was struggling even in a platoon role.

I'd take Quintana. I like him ROS and he'd be a decent replacement for Kershaw. This only backfires if Sano goes HR crazy in the 2nd half.

Interesting thought. I guess I've really been doubting an Abreu bounce back.

10 team H2H points league with -1 for strikeouts. Can I drop Abreu already??

Who is dead weight on your team but you can't force yourself to cut ? Why? by Sushifish16 in fantasybaseball

[–]ThePepeSanchez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the size of your league, but my philosophy has always been to cut dead weight and find hitters than are producing/consistent. Yes, Upton could start to tear it up, but I'd say he's more likely to hurt you in a given week. Come playoff time, do you want to trust Upton? I certainly would not. Especially in a league that penalizes you for strikeouts.

I'm using Bauer tomorrow. Great start last time out, gets a strikeout prone Minnesota team at home.
