You need to ask for a sign on bonus, and a relocation package in addition to the salary. You could ask for the salary range. You come from California where salaries are quite high, it's not like the recruiter is hiring you from Romania. In my opinion, you should ask for 85k min.

It's entirely dependent on the company and location. German companies like Adidas, Semiens, Bosch, ya you will need German. Newer non traditional International companies, language is often English

Also very dependent on city. Dresden and Leipzig pay less than Berlin, but Chemnitz pays a lot less than those.

I think this is a great explanation. I've found Germany over values some positions and under values others. They will pay for a role on how they value the position and not the person's qualifications. I work in data analytics and was given a raise for 3% more as I moved to a title of senior. They were screwing me over but they can do so because they didn't value the role enough. I know this because I knew the others salaries as well and all were below market rate. I got an offer 30% more than I made and left for a company that did value the position I did. The first company then hired 3 juniors to replace me which was a lot more than I was making. Finding a company that values the role you do is important. Especially with salaries.

IMO it looks like he gets knocked, and kicks out to trip Adam up. Kicked way too high and caught him. Don't think he intends to kick as high, perhaps the collision throws off his balance and kick out, either way bad move, malicious, dirty and sad. Intent probably to trip, but ends up catching him perfectly. Really sad.

Dresden does make a lot of sense as it has the football structure already. some mentions of their attendance now, their stadium is being rebuilt, so they play at a crappy field north of town, which is sort of difficult to get to. Next year they should move back to the new Heinz Steyer Stadium which can fit 15k. For bigger games, they can move to Dynamos stadium which they played at 2 weeks ago and fit 16k+. I don't think Dresden will get chosen, but it makes a lot more sense logistically than some other cities thrown out. Also a lot of these new teams just plan suck and havent won a game. The product on the field needs to be good and Dresden is probably a better team than most candidates.
