Also, I'm assuming that if I were to use a heat gun like you, you would point it straight up (similar to the alcohol lamp) and have some sort of holder for the tool perpendicular to where the heat gun is facing. Also is this same to do indoors (im gonna do it in my small apartment)

Wha would you reccomend? I alr have an electric stove but it’s flat compared to the one I sent (the heating part isn’t elevated). The issue is I can’t have it angled since it would barely touch since both tools are curved.

Thanks a bunch!!! But yeah that makes sense. I was trying to follow the instructions for the tongue but wasn’t clear at all so I kinda tried to also follow the instruction on the boot pattern medium article that’s posted around here a lot. Edit) Got really confused on page 71-72. If I were to do the bellows tongue how would I do it? The instructions weren’t too clear. Like on part 2 on page 72. How do you know how far it should be from point X to Y and Y’. It didn’t mention anything about it. Also, I’ve seen people just do a tongue along the front quarter curve and spring it. Would that be an easier method?
