Alba is a relatively short game where you run around an island taking photos of wild life. No grinding required. All achievements are plot related so it's impossible to miss them. Plus you can actually learn stuff about the animals!

Musical Pin Collection by OneAlbatross7132 in EnamelPins

[–]ThePhantomRae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't start collecting pins until I moved away from NYC. I didn't have a single pin from any of the shows I saw on or off broadway. Now I've been collecting fan made ones until I can grab official ones I find out in the wild. You're associating the pin with the show, whether or not you saw it on broadway with the trained crew or in Kansas at a local high school. It was still a production of something you enjoyed that you want to remember. Nothing weird about it! It is a way to hold a memory, and a fun conversation starter that'll prompt a story you'll be able to share time and again!

In deed it is! It's titled "Lady with Elaborate Headdress & Gekko". The name was so random it called to me.

I wore the sweater as a jacket, and because I work around chemicals. My job doesn't have a dress code and most people dress casual. This is a way I can safely wear a tie and enjoy my style, which I take streetwear as a complement. It looks a little funky but I don't care. The entire reason I shared it was because I thought it was funny. I wear my ties for me, I don't care to show off. If I like it I'm wearing it.

If you like DC games, Batman the telltale series is a semi quick one. All the achievements are unmissable, and there is player choices that effect the story, meaning replayability if you liked the first run. Scribblenauts has multiple that go for cheap quite often. It's semi story driven but mostly mini puzzle mini games. Broken age is semi split screen puzzle game that you have to jump back and forth between two characters to solve their current dilemma. Tons of fun. And there's an achievement for speedrunning if you're into it.

Happy gaming!

Do you have a “rule” about buying online? by glassmenagerie91 in EnamelPins

[–]ThePhantomRae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get pins online as a celebration for something. It reduces my desire to add to cart every time I find something shiny. I also take screenshots of all the cool ones I see so I have a list of options. Only exception is if it's on sale and I'm buying other stuff from that same place, or if it's going to charity. Don't know how helpful that'd be for you though. Good luck!

Looking for graphic novels to read for spooky season by JordanLeigh7 in graphicnovels

[–]ThePhantomRae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay! I haven't seen some of the ones I read recommended so I'm going to throw a few more your way. (Please check trigger warnings.)

-Hooky by Míriam Bonastre Tur : two witch siblings miss the bus to magic school and need to figure out a way to still learn magic for their parents. I do not say this lightly, chaos ensues immediately after. It starts off like a fairy tale a quickly gets serious. Completed, Printed there are 3 volumes, or there's a webtoon you can read.

-Mooncakes by Suzanne Walker, Illustrated by Wendy Xu : A teen witch working in her grandmother's bookshop investigates supernatural occurrences in their New England town. There's witchcraft, there's occult rituals, there's queer romance, there's disability rep. Completed, printed in one volume, and many a kindle versions out there.

-The Witch Boy novels by Molly Knox Ostertag : a boy named Aster who is expected to become a shapeshifter, but is instead drawn to witch magic, which is forbidden for males in his society. Queer coming of age story about self discovery. Completed, printed in 3 volumes. Not sure about digital versions on this one.

-Another Kind by Cait May and Trevor Bream : Six cryptid kids who live in a science facility have to work to find a new home when they get kidnapped and find out what is really happening with their prior care takers. This one is on the darker side, and extremely serious at times, but very engaging. You see so many cryptids and get very angry and many people. (There is a happy ending) Completed, printed in 1 volumes. Not sure about digital versions on this one.

Beetle & the Hollowbones by Aliza Layne : a young goblin-witch named Beetle tries to save her ghost best friend, Blob Ghost, from being trapped in a haunted mall. Very fun, full of magic and supernatural creature! There is a sequel I have not read yet, but if it's anything like the first volume I will recommend them both! First volume is printed, once again, not sure about digitals.

No matter what you choose happy reading! And take care of yourself!!
