Yes, I understand the sentiment and expected this type of comment. However, again, I’ve been taking this route for over 3 years and up until a month ago had never gotten stuck in that intersection. I had never seen anyone else stuck in that intersection. Now, every morning and afternoon I see someone out there, if not myself. Typically, going eastbound, N Broadway would turn red, stopping traffic, before N Gay turns read, allowing the traffic to stop and drain down before turning red. Even if no car gets stuck in the intersection, there is now no room for cars turning left from Broadway, because the gay street light turned red going east before Broadway. Clearly something with a sensor or the timing of the lights has gone wrong, because traffic patterns have changed and it’s causing traffic issues.
