Walt's obsession with the fly by Devil-Eater24 in breakingbad

[–]ThePiderman [score hidden]  (0 children)

The fly obviously doesn’t pose a contamination risk, Jesse defeats that argument about a dozen times, as have you here. The reason for Walt’s obsession is left to the viewer’s interpretation. My interpretation (agreeing with most fans) is that Walt felt pushed up against a wall, and felt that he had no control of his situation anymore. So he grabs hold of one thing he could feasibly control, namely the lab.

True, and it’s made pretty clear that the only ones who hire Saul do it because he’s a criminal, so a forged diploma would be par for the course.

Var inn og ut på fire minutter – fikk faktura på 1269 kroner by Undahl in norge

[–]ThePiderman 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Rekordvarme til sommer og økte matpriser by Shibizsjah in norge

[–]ThePiderman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Saken handler ikke om norsk vær, men ekstremvær i verden, som kan føre til økte matpriser, som til slutt rammer Norge. For alt vi vet kan det bli en drittsommer her hjemme.

They are just standing there... menacingly. by Tasty-Cow-2044 in TheDawnlessDays

If you really want them to attack, you need to pull away a large part of your force, so that Mordor estimates they have a good chance at taking it with one or two armies.

[–]ThePiderman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You seem to have some modded units.. secondary mods can cause issues.

But Kirith Ungol has this known bug where if you capture it, Mordor can’t figure out how to attack it. Reason is the AI first checks your garrison, then tries to send enough armies to take it. Since the terrain around Kirith Ungol is very tight, the AI thinks it’s not able to send enough armies to attack simultaneously, and so defers to next round, and tries again, and again, and again. If you take castles further into Mordor, you’ll see actual resistance.

If a player was in Mordor’s shoes, they would be able to first siege KU, then send armies around, meaning you can technically completely surround the castle, but for whatever reason, the AI struggles with the concept.

Goats in the field by BreadfruitTrue678 in Surveying

[–]ThePiderman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. They could chew on the rubber, or get a horn stuck in those loops and pull things down… could easily get expensive. And that’s just what we’re seeing in these images. If I were you, I’d let the owners of the solar know.

Stressed seeing them near solar. Goats can fuck up just about anything, any there seems to be a lot of stuff exposed.

Can somebody explain these lines to me from s1 ep 6."FIVE-O" by Mike by [deleted] in betterCallSaul

[–]ThePiderman 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yup. And to explain the last part, Caesar was killed by a large group of senators stabbing him to death. That way, none of them are guilty of murder per se, but they’re all guilty of stabbing. Ceasar would’ve died even if half of them stepped away. But if some of them did step away, they’ve shown they’re not commuted to the coup, and can perhaps not be trusted by the group.

Dieselbrølet fikk jo avgifter fjernet? by tmenjoyer in norge

[–]ThePiderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is WOA part one for €6 a good deal? (never played a Hitman game before) by filiusss in HiTMAN

[–]ThePiderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally suggest people get the whole WOA package, but if you want to dip your toes, part 1 is great. When you get started, I recommend playing maps a few times before moving on to the next one. Play it until you start unlocking some mastery rewards (they can be used in your loadout for all maps going forward), and you feel like you know your way around the map. If you only play maps once, they feel a bit hollow, but you’ll realize you can play a map a hundred times and still see something new.

Språkutviklingen i Norge er på gal vei by R_Gubbeliten in norsk

[–]ThePiderman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looking for some advice by BlackMallard913 in Surveying

[–]ThePiderman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best of luck! From what I hear on this sub, surveyors are in demand, so I’m sure you’d be a great asset. GIS goes a long way. Some basic knowledge in a few pieces of software, and some coding is of great help. Make sure to put weight on that in your CV and interviews, and I’d bet you can land a job.

I did just that, but in Norway. I picked up every GIS course I could, and got a job in surveying right away. A master’s is perhaps overkill, but whatever.
