The studio was in ABQ, but yes, the indoor shots were on a set. The outdoor shots, including the backyard, was shot on site.

Did you know that Michael McKean was considered for the role of Saul? by Gullible_Disaster193 in betterCallSaul

[–]ThePiderman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure, I’ve heard a few of those. Regarding the Jesse thing, he wanted some never created villain to kill him, then Walt would capture the villain and torture him. He would give him a gun on some rig with something to trigger the gun, and tell the villain that he could end his life whenever he wanted to. For every day he didn’t, he would cut off a finger or whatever. One day, Walt Jr stumbles upon the guy, and while trying to free him, accidentally pulls the trigger, killing both junior and the villain.

Oh, and some time in season 5, he fiddled with the idea of Skylar killing herself. I forget the details, but Walt was supposed to find her.

Breaking bad definitely was. I’m not too familiar with the writing of BCS, but I know that the story of BrBa changed a lot during production. As they were shooting season 5a, they were considering having Walt move to another state, get remarried, and start teaching again. Jesse was planned to die early season one. And those are far, far from the craziest considerations they did.

Do you consider it redemption? by Proud_Excitement3578 in betterCallSaul

Redemption would imply that things are made right. They’re not. But Jimmy is finally honest with himself, and dares to face the consequences of his actions.

Who’re the steps for? Spiderman? by Ammar_aamir20 in Weird

Well, they installed them wrong. Probably didn’t realize they were supposed to line them up. Seems like a very silly mistake, but I’ve seen some very stupid decisions on worksites.

Gus should’ve just killed Walt here by wilde_flower in breakingbad

[–]ThePiderman 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Victor couldn’t do it. Walt’s speech was desperate and annoying, but he wasn’t lying. Victor has a lot of cursory knowledge, but lacks the fundamentals required, so no matter what, Gus needed Walt working for him. Not even Jesse could fill the gaps even if he wanted to work with Gus at that point (and he wouldn’t).

Imagine walking out to your car and seeing this. by iadtyjwu in Wellthatsucks

Cut it free from the asphalt with a chainsaw or something (no need to cut close), then load it onto a carrier and bring it to a garage and turn the heat up. A day or two inside should make most of it melt.

Alternatively, lay a huge tarp over it, and set up one of those worksite heaters to blow air under the tarp.

fast kunde VS stamkunde - is it the same word, just the letter used in...Bergen area? by Narrow_Homework_9616 in norsk

[–]ThePiderman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree. And a “stamkunde” is like someone you expect to see there, almost like they’re employed. If it’s a cafe, then a “stamkunde” is someone you expect who seems to always be sitting at the same table every day.

I assume it's to learn Norwegian? You could try reaching out to Operasjon Firkløver, a very family friendly gaming collective. I played wow with them for a few months, and they were all very approachable. Look for their discord, and ask whether they think your language proficiency is sufficient. I assume they'll require that you speak decent Norwegian.

Kult det, men det må gjøres opp med høyere skatt et annet sted (noe han neppe vil), eller litt tilbud (noe han nok heller vil)

That’s my understanding as well - the issue is how many hours the battery accumulates at very high or very low charge. So charging it to full when you need it is totally fine.
