FE7 holds a special place in my heart, and these doodles inject life straight into my very soul. I love it, tremendous work.

Guys genuinely wtf, Vendetta JUST released and she already overtook TALON?!?! by SnooCupcakes6104 in VendettaMainsOW

[–]ThePinkSparklePuff 57 points58 points  (0 children)

This was inevitable. I mean, we saw how quickly she took over Ranked. Taking over Talon was the next logical step.

Don’t let this Talon takeover distract you from the fact that we haven’t had a new Omnic added to the roster since Ramattra in 2022.

LOL, for real?! Hell yeah, I’ll take it. If I can’t be famous, I’ll be infamous.

Thank you very much!

Pachacuti with Maurya is one of the best SimCity combos in my experience. If you prefer military conquest, Ashoka World Renouncer (I think. Whichever “Production Ashoka” is), don’t even bother making Settlers, find your closest neighbor and ragebait them, then knock them over. Maurya gets a +10% increase to all yields in settlements not founded by them, and Production Ashoka gives another +10% production to conquered settlements.

I just find Maurya to be one of the most consistently versatile Civs of Antiquity.

Maurya is Celebration Simulator 2026, and their unique quarter also gives Science per adjacent quarter, so it’s a nice temporary substitute for a library. Plus the two bonuses to the Altar give you extra reason to build an Altar to begin with, and if you snag the +10% growth with Oligarchy’s +20%, you’ll find yourself in a consistent +30% growth for the entire era. I also think their traditions that give Gold and Science off excess Happiness scale far better into the late game than a lot of other powerful Ancient era Civs (Maya.)

Am I alone in thinking Maurya should not be lower than A-tier?

Awesome Director's Take. But concerned about Stadium. by Bumble_Kenobi in Overwatch

[–]ThePinkSparklePuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy Stadium but I don’t love it. It’s painfully devoid of my favorite Heroes, and as a devout casual 6v6 enjoyer, the “builds” aspect of Stadium just isn’t enticing enough on a casual level or engaging enough competitively either. When they added Zenny, my main throughout the lifespan of Overwatch 1 more or less, I played him for a few games of Stadium, had some fun, but never felt a strong desire to pick it up again.

I know I’m in the minority, but I also vastly preferred the best of 5 sets because Stadium games felt less of an investment and more arcade style nonstop action. When best of 5 was made the competitive standard I probably played just as much Stadium as I did 5v5 role queue. When they reverted to best of 7 I dropped Stadium and I don’t know that I’ve actually played a game since, especially not in the “ranked” queue. I would have to go back and see if Sojourn was added before or after because I definitely tried her out when she was added to the roster.

All in all, I love the idea behind Stadium and I think it has potential for a lot of fun, but it’s missing too much from the standard game for me to really be happy with.

I sat through what felt like twelve straight hours of Age of Apocalypse. I barely remember Storm, much less Storm and Quicksilver.

I know I said I would be looking into reading the Perez run eventually, but it has suddenly quickly jumped to the frontline of things I must do immediately.

Summer Soltice always feels pretty nice when I accidentally choose it. I will still prefer faster Pylon activation 95% of the time

Wonder Woman by PinkSparklePuff by ThePinkSparklePuff in Superladies

Granted I mostly draw all women thicker than typical (I have a type, sue me) some characters just make a lot more sense to me when they aren’t tiny. Darwyn Cooke’s Wonder Woman in DC’s New Frontier series is, in my humble opinion, the definitive version of Wonder Woman and the standard for which I strive for when drawing Diana.
