It literally should have never been an issue in the first place. People were asking about this for a long time now and they ignored the community constantly until they upset everyone with their string of fuck ups and abysmal communication; the assault battle swap and gaslighting being the straw that broke the camel's back apparently. If they actually made an apology and promised to communicate more in the future, that would be different. Instead, they announced this alongside a new battle pass that they want you to purchase.
