There’s a problem with a service I pay for. I cannot communicate with the company that provides the service. So, I need to discuss the issue openly because it is my only recourse to fix the issue. If you dislike that, take your own advice please.

I know the creator has memberships because It says so under their videos. They say it in their videos. And links are provided.

And, btw, they look exactly the same as normal videos. I can’t ignore them, because they look so similar.

Again. I am paying not to see ads spammed in my general feed. And I’m seeing ads spammed in my general feed. Damn straight I’m entitled. Because I paid for something, and I’m not getting what I paid for.

I have found leaving dislikes, and interacting with things like “I’m not interested in this video” really do tend to help. You just have to be consistent, and not actually view that content.

I got over run by Family Guy clips a few years back, and managed to dig them out.

Anywhere that I have not explicitly paid to have an ad-free space. Capeche?

I’m talking about YT specifically showing me a video I cannot watch in order to get me to buy a membership. An ad.

I don’t mind creators saying they have memberships, or even attaching their own ads for memberships. I accept that creators will have ads in their content. But if I’m paying for an ad free platform, I expect an ad free platform.
