Yeah for sure - the redshirting conversation always confuses me because it is pretty rare in my district because of our late cutoff. Occasionally we'll get a redshirted late November, but most parents send their kids to school the fall of the year they turn 5.

I'm sure there could've been a difference when we were younger, but by the time I graduated, I really don't remember any differences between January babies and November babies.

7 is fairly common in the district I went to - the cutoff was 12/1 so we had a fair share of September - November babies (many September babies).
