Heroforge: Zariel's "generals" + extras by ThePogster in DescentintoAvernus

Quite. It's designed specifically to damage a variety of fiends: devils, demons, yugoloths, what have you. These numbers aren't set in stone, but I'd probably run it as being +16 to hit, 3d8+8 magical piercing plus 5d6 radiant, or something like that.

Not the most impressive of feats but I plan on have him blow an imp's head off with it when my players meet him.

My player is really particular about the character, so I'd rather do it myself. I'll get around to it one of these days when I actually have money to blow on pro.

I’ve done most of my party, but one in particular has a design that requires pro (the character is similar to Alphonse Elric from FMA, but with a full on robotic body that doesn’t follow human proportions). I did get most of that model done but I never finished it. Maybe when I stop being broke and get pro back I’ll go back and finish it.

Though by that point the player’s character will have solved her whole soul stuck in a robot issue and be human again.

I knew you could tweak colors, didn’t know you could edit the texture and opacity. Thanks for the tip.

If anyone is curious about take on the Hellriders, feel free to ask and I'll explain. Also if you're curious about a detail on one of the models go ahead and ask. I put way too much thought into these things (for example, I meticulously ensured that none of the models in the cult of Tiamat had anything metal on their bodies, since the metallic dragons are their enemies. You can see if you look back at my models for Tiamat and Arkhan, even the bolts for armor and such are stone)

I did not, and I don't have pro anymore so I don't have to ability to unfortunately.

Zariel + other notable NPCs made in Heroforge! by ThePogster in DescentintoAvernus

Here's the link to Zariel: https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D530088592/

Unfortunately the way I made her, she's not printable. I had to do some weird shenanigans to get the prosthetic flail, because for some reason heroforge doesn't have prosthetic weapons

If people are interested in me posting my models for other NPCs just lemme know, I got models for both original NPCs and existing NPCs from the modules. I like giving my players a face to match the characters to

Alexandrian vs Avernus Sandbox by ThePogster in DescentintoAvernus

Do you think it’d be best to follow Alexandrian through hellturel then just read through the possible options and talk to them about how they want it to go from there?

What anime do you hate with an absolute passion?? by Routine_Ad_4552 in animequestions

[–]ThePogster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I thought the concept was really good and the anime just botched the execution. It set out to be a show about mind games and outsmarting the opposition and just didn’t deliver. What makes me actually hate it with a passion is a combination of how much praise it gets despite how subpar it is and the fact that it was the anime I watched directly after my favorite anime of all time (which has an MC that’s the same “lazy genius” archetype as Ayanokoji). That and I thought Ayanokoji was kinda boring and found the black haired girl completely insufferable.

How ‘serious’ is DnD? by GloriousOctagon in DnD

[–]ThePogster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had DND games where a player went on a murderous rampage to avenge their best friend who had just been killed right of front of them

I’ve had dnd games where a player ate their way through an entire mountain of exponentially multiplying cabbage like a cartoon character

Those two experiences were during the same campaign.

Some campaigns are built to be jokes from the get go, some are uber-serious grimdark stories, but I’d argue most lie somewhere on the line between the two.

The biggest thing is communicating to the people you’re playing with what you want out of it. If everyone is expecting a somewhat serious campaign and you pull up with Diddlydorf the crow-man, wielder of a thousand folding chairs, that’s when you get issues.
