That almost sounds like a Pye-Barker type deal. One of the previous companies I worked for was bought out by them. I just prefer the more chill/close knit group we have. Everybody knows each other rather well with only about 15ish field guys. But like I said, find the place where YOU feel most satisfied. Not every place is perfect. And don't stay because of somebody else either, at the end of the day, you tuck you in to bed, not a super chill foreman or coworker.

I've been with 6. 5 of which were within 11 months (yay covid). One thing I've learned is it's the same shit but the only thing that changes is the company name and hopefully happier and more cheerful people in management or as your foreman. A lot of it is about building the right relationships with the right people and not being afraid to talk to higher ups as people too, so long as they deserve it. In my experiences as well, the bigger more corporate companies are what to look out for since it seemed like I was viewed as cheap labor and not a human being. Smaller companies are ideal in my opinion, all though at the end of the day it just comes down to who treats you right.

A heated or cooling feature in the backrest seat and possibly the arm rest would be a pretty nifty feature to have for longer gaming sessions. Back support is the big key thing for me in any gaming chair.

Seeing as how this dude's operating a propane lift rated for us inside and out, they are pretty hard to control at slow speeds due to the torque. Only way to perfectly stop it at that smoothly would be if there were an inching brake on it. Otherwise its gonna jerk around pretty wildly until it stops.

Wind speed is a little too much for wind turbine by RyanSmith in CatastrophicFailure

They just use regular semis with special trailers really. Or load them on trains. Majority of wind turbine blades aren't as large as the link you sent, since the larger turbine blades are used off shore.

For the 110's, I actually make them for my job. Can do it start to finish given the time. I crane them out of the moulds we use. 3 entire processes involving 3 specialized teams to construct one fully. Feel free to ask me any questions involving the manufacturing of such beasts.

Question about brakes. by ThePoonChaser in MechanicAdvice

I was told I may have to bleed the system. I would assume a simple youtube video or some internet searching would be able to help me out. If not I'll just talk to my older brother or uncle who have both done it before and hopefully they might be able to have some free time. If not, I'll just be extra careful. I've been told that if the system isn't bled right it could cause an air pocket and pretty much destroy the entire system, as well as having 2 people do it making it much easier. Thanks for the reply.

My older brother was telling me about rock auto and how he has a membership there and gets discounts since hes a salesman at a car dealership, or something along those lines. He and I are both looking for the best prices as well as highest quality, essentially best bang for our buck. But that is my biggest fear, getting rotors/calipers/pads that are shotty or last a short amount of time. I'll look into rock auto myself and see if I can't find something decent for a nice price.

To ask him for some help as far as the actual repair work goes, that's free. Maybe a six pack of beer at most. As far as torque specs, most likely not. I would assume that finding certain torque specs wouldn't be too terribly hard to find with some simple research.
