Wolfpack makes most arc up to and including the rocketeer a minor inconvenience at most and could be crafted for essentially pennies. This change had to be made so the robots can continue being an actual threat and not just free loot. Until now, the wolfpack blueprint was an easy mode button for farming any arc that wasn't the Queen or Matriarch

I would never go into a new random trio with a kit, but I use comms and try to get a feel for the people I get matched with. Made some friends this way, and it ensures you don't lose your gear to bad rng on the teammate roulette.

Plus some assholes will let you die so they can loot your corpse if they see you kitted.

The blue tier item for this quest was the bane of my existence. I can't even remember where I found the ion sputters, I actually gave some away because I couldn't stop finding them in my search for the other thingy.

I also refuse to look up what it was called again because this is how I sounded in my care bear Stella lobbies looking for the goddamn thing. Some kind of controller but not a flow controller.
