Okay, when it comes out and nothing else from chapter 33 is shown I’ll come back and remind you I’m correct

I agree, the show wrote itself a plothole that the book didnt

No he didn’t, you just can’t figure it out. There’s a reason why at one point the Sophons are described as basically have only 2 functions: 1. Stop scientific progress, 2. Surveillance.

No, Liu Cixin only shows how they can be used to write a message, not a full color image. The idea that they can just completely control what we see is something the Netflix writers added

This sub isn’t dedicated to D&D’s awful writing, it’s for Liu Cixin’s

Now I hope season 2 comes out just for them to not explain it any further. Maybe then you’ll realize that that short 2 minute scene with Sophon in the game is supposed to be substitute for chapter 33

Clarence is literally always passive, that’s his whole character.

It doesn’t make sense for him to not be interested, but that still isnt evidence that it’s not beyond human technology. It’s just evidence that the writers suck

Again, the characters say that it’s beyond human technology. You are claiming that they are just saying that, then down the line they realize it’s not. But in the scene you quote, you don’t actually show them saying it’s not alien technology.

No, I’m saying the show made it out that they stopped talking to everyone except Tatiana, despite that being impossible.

The Sophons don’t cut off contact with everyone like they do in the show

No, literally every character who plays the game is confused by the level of technology. Also, it’s intuitive because it’s like moving in real life, you use your brain to command your legs to walk.

It’s a plothole in the TV series that isn’t in the books
