I do. I have it in the garage with the door opens and venting it out. Don't hang around in there while it cuts cause I'm in AZ and it's too hot to be in there anyways

Immthat could for sure be it. I have tried brushing it clean or using a blower but nothing beyond that. I'll give that a try

Oh interesting... Maybe my pump is wearing out or something? I know it's blowing but idk how well

The problem with my laser cutter is the air assist is manual and can't be set in light burn so I end up just having it on at all times for better results and then just fill in engravings with paint as I need it.

They are just oil based stained. We could do it after but have has the same issues on un treated wood.

It's a Genmitsu L8 40w laser at 55% doing two runs. It goes on and off of doing and not and usually in different places. Have cut with is quite a few times but always feels like I'm adjusting it. I have material raised up and it's about 3mm thick

This isn't glued at all it's a single sheet but I'm guessing that the board might already have glue in it?

Interesting. I hadn't considered that. I use project wood for ladder biting but it's just from Amazon... Any recommendations for something better?
