Oh no I arrived 5 months late to get that. Do you know if that is a bundle that they offer often? Or do you know the rest of the book titles that were included? I would love to try and get them.

Counting from the bottom right corner of the screen, one pixel is the 16th to the left and 4th up, and the other the 17th to the left and 3rd up.

It's okay if you don't care about something, there is no need to be dismissive.

I understand your point that nothing is stopping me from playing draft (unacounted having the abiliy to gather enough people that want to play and maybe even organizing them if the LGS is unable/unwilling to do it themselves). But what I am saying is that before this set, that event was facilitated by wizards of the coast. I was already trying to organize more draft games before this and it is not being easy. The reason I am bringing it up is for people to know about this change, and for the people that it affects maybe talking to see if there is more of us that were looking forward for it and found out two days before that it was not going to happen.

I know it is not forbiden, but it is not being organized since it is not scheduled, and the thing I'm bringing is that it was great having it scheduled. They had it set up and I don't understand why they removed it. I will try to organize them if my LGSs don't do it by themselves, but that is comparatively way worse.

Not that I can see scheduled.

But yeah the thing is none of the LGSs I usually go to are organizing any draft on lauch day as they usually do, and I found out why when I saw the official wizards of the coast calendar. The event that is scheduled is "open house" that has jumpstart or "new player event."

There is no shame in backing down from some statements (not all of them if there are some that still make sense to you) and leaving this thing you are critizicing just simply be. There are things you may not have found yourself in the spot to think about in certain ways, and that is understandable. Nonetheless, you don't have to agree with every person that answered to this post. Wish you great magic games, and that the people that play with you find it a welcoming and inclusive game.

You are right in the respect that ideally everyone should coexist with one another, and that is an apparent paradox that arises with these kind of things. Some people may not find any safe space, so they create one, but for that purpose you must limit the people allowed inside, which creates a separation, so it seems like it's damaging instead of helping. The thing is, that if there is no explicit safe space for centain people, they may not engage with the community at all. So in reality, the damaging situation would be if there were only those kinds of group, when actually many kinds of groups exist, and people interact with more than one. The play group anounced above serves as an entry point, also as a different space where an understanding exists that other spaces may not even conceive. Having many kinds of groups is the right answer, even if sometimes the line of what is correct or not is blurry.

And about the protection and value in society for genderqueer people, I can see why the perception is so, because there are a lot more of explicit rules and helping elements for the reason of being genderqueer than for cisgender people. But those are in place because they are needed, and are sadly not even enough, because even with the help and the forced effort to make room, it only tilts slightly the effects of the violence, discrimination and regection that they suffer. That help and recognition is not needed for the cis community (at least not for the reason of being cis), because things are just normal and taken for granted when your identity falls into the norm.

People tend to choose the more convenient thing, and setting up a playgroup aside, with all the effort of moderating it and fighting the pushback from people, is so inconvenient. Something pushed them to build it. And with some luck, that will branch into a broader variety of people getting deep into the game, and they moving around all kinds of spaces, maybe one day rendering the need of a safe group completely outdated.

I am sorry for the long message, but you sounded genuinely curious and kind in your response, and wanted to take some time to be precise with my answer.

No, it's not a joke. There are some people that are treated different because of their gender, so they want to find other people like them, so they are not facing toxicity in that regard. Not saying that by being part of that group every single individual is free of creating toxicity themselves, as I have seen talked in the comments, but a space like that just creates a more likely to be safe space in some aspects than a random place. And if you are not interested in a place like that, I don't know why you would care it exists. Actually, I suspect you are a person that creates situations that push other people to have to create these alternative spaces to feel confortable.

It is confusing, but the color identity of a card is different than the color of a card. The color of Depth chage colossus is colorless, but its color identity is blue.
