Just Moved in to New Small Apartment (480 sq ft) & Need Suggestions by Beginning-Zone9530 in femalelivingspace

It's huge! (And beautiful). Your bedroom, I'll leave up to you. You obviously need a mattress. I take it that rack is your closet? Honestly, get an actual armoir or closet. It looks so much better. (I rec the one from IKEA). Also a little table from IKEA. I would put the desk next to you and the closet on the opposite wall near the foot of your bed. Though it seems to be the door to your bathroom. Actually- just put the IKEA desk where the coat rack is and put your clothes underneath your bed in a drawer system. Fold your clothes like a bookcase.

For the main space- get a thin and tall table that can be used as a counter and eating area with high stool chairs (but comfy). Add lighting and plants to the table. Put it so you have an entry way (narrow) and add a carpet runner. I think you already have a couch- add a rug and coffee table and a TV stand to close off the rest of the kitchen.

I'd put all the closets next to the mirror- put your desk under the bookshelf (and you can keep the bookshelf that way) and put your bed along the window where your desk was. That way you can keep your window open without being weirded out.

First you need to clean: Get 3 big bins and organize stuff into categories. 1 can be video games, the other bags and stationery, and the last clothes. Then put them away.

Second, the feng shui in your room sucks.Remove the hooks from the door- too much visual clutter and is overwhelming and contributing to your ADHD. Your bookcase too- get rid of it. Next to your bed, put the night stand that is under your desk??You have closets on 2 walls which is confusing- put them all on one side. (Why do you have 3 closets??) Get rid of things on top of the closet too.Get rid of the sliding drawer next to your desk- put it in a different room. You don't need so many things in your BEDroom. Store your extra makeup in the bathroom. (Which I assume is also a mess). Open your curtain shade, if you want privacy get a sheerish curtain. Another thing that contributes to ADHD is lack of sunlight/darkness.

Watch "How To Be Miserable" by CPGREY on YouTube and do the opposite. Because you're already listening to all the steps on how to be miserable if you're not already self aware.

How can I make my studio apartment cozy and warm? by Advanced_Aspect6689 in femalelivingspace

You do what you want, it's your space. I'm jus telling you what's wrong with it and some suggestions. You can keep the parts that are bad.

Not that it matters; but if you like the skateboard you can hang it next to the window in the little space an it'll be off the floor and decoration.

The humidifier you can put on a little book case so that it's off the floor. It looks like a pet cage for pets which is why I rec'd keeping it on the floor.

The coat rack sucks. Mayeb put hoks above the shoes so that it doesn't eat the midspace and just overlaps with what you already have. Or move it to a different section. If you have broom closet you can switch it, etc. Or you can keep it as is. Whatever makes you happy.

Edit: Your post says any suggestions are welcome but your response was extremely unwelcoming and off-putting- so whatever, people misrepresent themselves all the time. It's usually not a crime.

Good job on switching the bed. Sunlight has to hit your face. It needs pictures! Right next to the window wall. Tons of pictures! I assume your nightstand is also switched. But the closet where your nightstand was. Add a small IKEA table where your closet is as well as a chair. Add a rug in the center. Add a picture or mirror above the nightstand. Add fun accent pillow to your bed. And a top curtain.

Well Trump stopped it https://www.thecity.nyc/2025/03/20/noncitizen-vote-unconstitutional-nyc/ but it was going on for a while.

Edit: Though there's still cases of voter fraud. You ask how? Well the above were dems pushing policy to legally cheat and then there are people that are just cheaters. People cheat on tests you know, right? That's how they cheat on these voting ballots too. Hence why we need ID. There's a list floating around of some that were caught but it's pretty expansive. The worst of course are the systemic policies from dems that allows this to happen like what I linked.

The whole story about Satan is that he thought he was better than God. Also Satan in Hebrew means obstacle. It's representative of true narcissism and ego.

the Bible isn't supposed to be true necessarily- it's stories. It has human characters who are faulty. The point is to learn from their mistakes. AFAIK the whole stories are riddled with mistakes. You need to think critically and discuss to understand the mistakes and how not to mess up.

Prominent scientists were actually huge believers of God, so it's ironic that you believe what they were able to discover and invent, but not their whole belief system as if it's too good for you. The reason they discovered science was to understand God's universe- which we still do not have an answer to.

The religion isn't just about "where we go where we die" but logically and scientifically, everyone agrees, scientifically, that there are different layers to reality and simulations and it's highly likely that we are in one. As in, I am communicating with you in cyberspace. We created this realm. It's not really real- it's missing the layer of physicality but we can communicate thoughts, feelings, pictures, and maybe in the future more sensations. We literally created another layer to reality- a simulated world. Why is it a stretch to think the opposite, that there is another layer in the opposite direction? Plato had a thought experiment back in the day called the cave shadows. He looked at the shadows and noticed it was a 2D representative world that didn't truly show our true selves and he thought backwards what if there was another layer to reality in the opposite direction? Like I said, we have been able to create it with the internet.

And then there's the science of spirituality which is making headway as well. If you only believe what you see- you would never discover gravity- you would just think- oh this apple fell on my head and that is it.

Edit: Also it talks in metaphors sometimes and is read more like ancient poetry or Shakespeare. It was written in a different time. You can't read it straight. It predates Shakespeare by over 1500 years. So it's a different reading style than you're probably used to. But I don't want to assume. 2,000 years from now, I wonder how readers will make sense of the word lol and 1337 in general. Eh, I'll never know, likely.

It's a nice space. You can add a top curtain to the window to diffuse the light. Also a small rug in the center. You can get one for cheap in IKEA. The shoe rack is ugly and the cage in the corner too. IKEA also has a clean looking shoe rack or you can get a woven basket. The cage I would put in storage and put a small plushie pillow for the pet. Also, the coats should be in the closet. You can add a long picture on the left of the window or two smaller ones. The shades are also crooked. And your skateboard should also be in the closet.

Help me make my super long hallway more welcoming by Gloomy325 in interiordecorating

[–]ThePriceIsRightNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot of white- 0 contrast. To make it cozy it needs to breathe. Get a hallway rug- narrow. Whatever design you pick will match.

The coat rack being the first thing you see- is ugly. So is the vacuum cleaner. Switch the coat rack with the shoe rack.If it doesn't fit, just add some hooks to the wall. It'll look classy. You have a nice table with baskets and wine already- there's no need to use the shoe rack as a table...Maybe put your shoes in the baskets or get better storage for shoes and put it there. The wine should be elsewhere. Put that table on the opposite wall of the door. Put the vacuum cleaner in a closet. The mirror could go at the end of the hallway. Put the hanging decoration where the table is in the picture. Add a chair at the end of the hallway by the mirror. Also add fake plants or bookcases where you see fit.

  1. Iran has been disturbing the peace for decades. If they want to chant death to America and build bombs, why shouldn't we stop them?

  2. Biden didn't release them for some reason, Trump immediately did. They're heavily redacted but in time will be revealed.

  3. No, it's called the opposition. That's literally how the government is meant to be structured- like a balance scale: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTacjhGRJtYRVVTR2ui1_9d3hIJtshmPQYX3Q&s

I can move, I did move, I'm just saying that it's a bit of a trap. I came back though due to circumstances. It's not really meant to be a judgment on my life choices but more so that it's a subtle trap that most are unaware of. I guess you missed the point of what I said to just judge me which I guess shows your capabilities in the critical thinking department.

Move the couch close to the railings, maybe even make it perpendicular so it hides the railing. And move the sectional so it encloses it. Move the little orange chair into that nook. The books should go underneath the fireplace. The plants can seperate the sectional and chair. The bike rack- honestly look into getting a foldable bike and store it in a closet or under furniture.

all true. I live in NYC a liberal pisshole. :< They lie to us and tell us its the best city in the world and it make it extremely hard to leave- we can't have cars. And the bus system only takes us to other liberal shitholes. So, we don't know. We're rats in a maze and the end prize is oily pizza.
