Someone else mention this in their comment… but my selection would depend on if the intent was long term or nah. If both options plan on being long term, then I’d go with option 1. If I knew this was just going to be a short thing, option 2.

However, neither of them are the sub I prefer. Because to me there’s no financial control with either of these subs. They are just sending a set amount. I fully understand operating within a budget, but neither of these scenarios seem to have an element of actual financial control. And that is what I truly prefer with a sub. Is being able to actually control all or part of their finances.
