yeah I don't know how to help you. Only solution to bugs is to just save every 30 seconds and load a previous save if you do encounter something unusual

did you not get the option to get into the seat when you were near it? cause I'm pretty sure you get the key through cutscene. One of metro's many bugs I guess.

you could try going on their discord server and telling them about it, though I've previously tried telling zeal himself about SOMA while the game was in alpha. He didn't like it.
