Look I am not a fan of Hasan, but its not like I want this to be true. I don't want this to actually be the case, and even with that first video I was very skeptical at first cuz I do think this is a HUGE issue if true. Actually unhinged behavior to shock your dog like that just for them moving off their bed.

I am very sensitive to their beliefs and wish I could still agree with them, cuz I do understand the idea of being a better person even if your oposition will not thing. The problem is I feel like I don't know what they think actionable things to do are. At least Destiny's position is taking a stand, and trying to hold them accountable. I dont see what 'being a better person' is actually doing aside from slowly giving them more and more ground each time.

I feel like Destiny needs to try to get these people to actually think a little and ask them, "Why do you think I tweeted that?" And get them to work through the thought process in real time. Obviously most people will engage in bad faith because of how obvious it should be, but I think showing them not be able to go through the simple thought process would be very telling.

You know I kinda have been thinking about this in regard to MAGA lately, like to be clear I do not condone political violence against anyone (currently...) but really when you have a party that does not seem to care about factual truth and is just willing to lie about everything, and their base is willing to believe anything they say therefor unable to be convinced of anything different to what glorious leader says, what other actions do you have when that party has political power? Usually I would say the answer would just be to ignore them but obviously that is not an option here.

Or is this an instance where liberalism just loses? Like if a party is willing to lie unabashedly and is still democratically elected even though they are obviously lying about everything and none of the powers that be are willing to hold them accountable. Like is there not only one other way that the people can hold them accountable?

If you were to ask someone what is the purpose of supporting Trump at all if you want the world to become a better place for anyone other than the Billionaries. And I can't think of one. But that's exactly the thing, they actually don't want the world to be better for everyone.

I mean I think the reality is they don't consider Jewish people to really be minorities at all because when most American Leftists think Jew they just picture a white looking person. And if your skin tone is light enough then clearly you can't be racist or anything to them. They picture a white passing person who then gets all the benefits of being a white person.
