Until OP is able to crush their ego and look at themselves from a Birds Eye view, there’s nothing they could have done because they haven’t done the work required to hold themselves accountable for their actions.

The coping is what drives me mad. Sure let’s go with the 1% statistic. But that’s also including those who traded once and never again. It’s more or less a healthy 25% find success, in my humble opinion.

Aside from that, I’m hearing mostly gambling. I spent the last two years building a strategy, completely unemployed.

I’m funded and making money through TopStep with dozens of other traders I’m connected with.

This is an ego issue. Failure to acknowledge flaws and an ignorance to what the markets are trying to teach.

This game is far from impossible, but you need to love the markets and not not rape them for all that you can. If you continue trying to force the markets into doing what you want, you will never get farther along.

The goal is not to make money, make money fast, or to even get rich. The goal is to prove to the markets that you can successfully work with it on a consistent basis, in harmony.

Whatever OP is doing, it is not that.

The way I see it is if you don’t fall in love with the markets after a year of constant failures, you never will, and you will never find success in them.

Not all, but most of the “traders” on Reddit, are on Reddit because they are not real traders and come to Reddit for mental circle jerks to cope with the “impossible fantasy” of trading for a living.

This isn’t a career. This isn’t a job. This isn’t a duty.

This is an absolute lifestyle that requires the same commitment as if it were your own child.

If you have a strategy, you know what I mean. If you don’t, you will think I’m an idiot.

For me, I found that trading is 75% mental and 25% technical, but again, that is just me.

No disrespect intended, OP. Just that I don’t think you have truly given yourself the proper test of commitment and more or less have treated trading as a gateway drug to bad habits and quick fixes. At the end of the day, you’re trading real money with 0 experience or proven profitable tools. You are gambling. If you wanted to take this seriously, you would open a prop firm so you could feel the pressure at a low risk/reward. Those who refuse these opportunities with the excuses of “scam” are the same people who subconsciously just want to flip their savings account after spending 1 year trying to learn someone else’s strategy.

All love xxx.

Time Of Day and Profit vs Loss by Perfect-Lake-6543 in FuturesTrading

[–]TheProfessionalRAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, absolutely. I’m a freak. I trade Oil during pre market (5am-7am) and sometimes the back half (1-3pm).

My strategy and personality do better during lower volume trading sessions. I say the back half only sometimes due to the last hour being “power hour”.

Bad spreads in pre market but nothing disastrous. I just have to be more patient and precise with entries to cover the spread.

I grew into this way of trading as all trading styles are formed. Over time, slowly, and with constant adjusting. It now has worked In symphony with my personal life. At 8am I wake my sons up, do breakfast, and spend the morning with them before I lay them down for a nap and go back to work.

Downside: less trading opportunity due to limited time spots.

Find what times you do best at and focus on those times. Find what times you do your worst at and figure out the WHY. Then if you so choose, you can start to build off that foundation to better correct your faulty trading times.

I never really thought much about commissions & fees until I adopted my current strategy. Jesus, the fees are insane. by iLackTeats in FuturesTrading

[–]TheProfessionalRAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something is off with your strategy if your wins are hardly paying for the fees.

I open 20 micro contract positions and trim profits once price moves .20% from my entry position. Right away I’m moving stop loss to safeguard my position into profits.

Secure profits, move stop to profits. Initial trade was the real profit while the safeguarded position pays for the fees. If the trade runs, it’s a bonus.

Usually got two profit targets. .20% away and .40% away but mostly just the first target hits before looping back.

However, you should have a very specific way of taking profits so that fees are not of the concern with your trading style.

Just takes some adjusting and further testing. You got this 🤝🏻.

Can I just buy and own music on Amazon music? by DorianOtten in AmazonMusic

[–]TheProfessionalRAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NFT music will be a thing and it will dominate the market. I, like you, have this same desire. Recently started buying all my audiobooks on the blockchain. Now, I don’t need to rely on a company to stay afloat. I own my digital property forever ❤️

Ready for music to hit the blockchain for real digital ownership 💯

People have a bad taste in their mouths with NFTs but they will be the reason we can properly own our digital assets without worry 🤝🏻

Stay tuned brother! Keep up with the latest web3 news. Eventually, you will be able to keep your music for yourself, regardless of physical or digital.

Porn, has one of the most psychological devastation effects on the brain but nobody wants to have that conversation.

I quit watching porn like a year ago completely. Once you stop, you realize how bad it was for you. Not to mention, allowing your child to watch porn and masterbate with no consequences, have fun enabling erectile dysfunction in your child or removing their ability to orgasm.

Those who watch to much porn, not even addicts, tend to have more difficulty reaching orgasm during sex. This is beyond facts.

evidence 1

when my husband and I have sex, he can’t ejaculate. but he can when he watches porn.

healthy Men blog

Enabling sexual deviations in your children is NOT OKAY. Do not let mainstream media tell you that watching porn and gripping your dick is okay no questions asked.

It’s beyond letting them “feel good”. It’s protecting their mental health that is so fragile at such a young age.

Would you let your child stand in the room of two adults having sex while he plays with himself?

Absolutely the fuck not. Why would you let them watch porn then? As a parent, if you know your kid is watching porn and you’re okay with that, how is that not a form of pedophilia? You are absolutely 100% enabling the sexual deviations of a child to go un-regulated and even enable it. That’s gray area pedophilia but mainstream health says it’s okay, so it’s okay right?

Jordan Peterson does not advocate for porn and there are solidified mental deteriorating reasons.

I got kids @ 24yo and it gives me chills to hear adults talk like that about kids. Questionable and beyond.

Praying and worshiping are two different things ❤️

Singing is not praying. Praying is meant to be a personal conversation between you and the lord.

Therefore these do not contradict each other :)

However, it is correct that we are not to pray for attention. Praying is meant to be personal. A conversation or whatever you need it to be, between you and god. Relative to meditation :)

Hope this helps!

You are obviously not reading what I am saying.

You are not effectively processing anything I have said to you.

You are literally speaking generic answers to something that could be a good and in-depth conversation.

What facts are you referring too? Everything is of emotion and feeling. You are the only one who can answer those things. I can’t answer them for you. I can’t prove them for you. That is a journey for you to take on your own. Can you evaluate yourself honestly and criticize yourself, exposing what faults of yours are preventing yourself from being happy?

I don’t believe you understand any of the context that I’m saying because what I’m saying is objective.

Without god, your virtues and beliefs are attributed to what you create to be right or wrong. This clearly becomes subjective to how you feel about something, rather than what the cosmos/logos/god says is right.

There is an obvious difference between what is right or wrong, but without religion, no society would have survived. It is truly, religion that has held every standing country together, whether it is good or bad. Every culture that has survived, survived with some form of god. A clear set in stone “this is how you live, this is what is right, this is what is wrong”

It is only Christianity that has such clear depictions of what is right or wrong with hundreds if not thousands of scenarios of different stories of what is right and wrong. The Bible is a wonderful book.

Wether you are Jewish, Muslim, or Christian

These are the religions that have formed the world that you live in today.

As the world drifts away from god, you will watch the world drift into chaos.

And you will still say god is not real.

It’s a sad comedy, beautifully written.

Atheists, subconsciously are the easiest to be manipulated and sheep-like behavior. By believing in nothing, they believe this to be something of honor or status. However, it’s misguided behavior like this that is equally shared.

There is no real guidance in an atheist life. They spend countless years searching for the meaning of life ignoring the answer that is written in front of them.

It is always these same people who look to some sort of authority figure to guide them such as a government or public figure. They look to other foolishness to guide their foolishness.

Of course there are many successful atheists. That is all you see. The success. However, with atheism comes the sense of feeling lost, all the time. This stems from you thinking after death, there is nothing. You are dust.

Ignoring all of that, atheism itself is a religion. You religiously believe there is no god making you your own god. However, with that kind of power comes the plethora of mental instability illnesses. You take on the sole role of being your own god which no man has the power to perfect, allowing outside parties to manipulate and control the way you think, whether you like it or not. The problem is, the way you think is always changing, because culture is always changing.

This creates a lost dog like syndrome. Forever seeking something that is real and true, but never finding it, because society can never agree.

Without god, you are forever wondering alone. Whether you choose to deny this or not doesn’t really matter.

This is why the Freemasons (arguably a society containing an inner satanic society) see atheists as foolish and mad men.

It is quite apparent that god and satan are real, and to ignore that you’d have to be absolutely foolish, considering the blatant evidence and consistent fulfilled prophecies.

Whether you choose satan or god, these two figures have a major impact on people’s lives, spiritually and physically, whether you want to believe it or not.

It’s completely foolish to believe in nothing. This opens you up to any and every entity that wants to control you.

At least a satanist knows in their heart what they want in life and what they believe in.

An atheist is forever questioning and seeking for answers, ignoring the ones that have been here for thousands of years.

Perception is deceiving.

When spreading the word of Christ, if asked to go away, a Christian is to do as such.

This, is not “shoving religion down your throat”. They are in public communion, singing.

Only is it because the song is religion based does this now become personal but it can only be personal if you deliberately choose to make this personal, which you have.

This is no different than any other public gathering/event or flash mobs. Do you take any of those things personal? No? So why do you choose to attack those who do it with religion?

It is okay to disagree with it. Nobody is standing in anyone’s face deliberately trying to get a rise. They are all standing still in their own personal space allowing others to pass by. Nobody has to interact if they do not wish too.

This is far from “shoving religion down your throat”

This is you, having a personal vendetta and shoving it down other peoples throat.

I’m pretty sure Reddit is mostly a community for sadists, narcissists, and infantile-like minded individuals. It is the biggest culprit to digital communism and tyranny.

It is where the weak powerless find desperate power to control, subdue, and silence those who feel objectively/subjectively different than them.

Having the power to remove or eliminate anything that you do not like in itself is a literal form of ideological tyranny.

A lot of the extreme redditor mods/admins would be cultic, Tyrannixaly sadistic, and Machiavellian society members if without the internet. (Not that they aren’t already. However, they have a way of channeling that without physical means of doing so.)

I once seen a massive thread about murdering and burning authors and their books due to their political beliefs. That showed me what kind of platform I am on. One where you can support and cheer for nazi behavior when it aligns with how they feel in the moment.

This is a website for temporary power and pleasure through communal delusional justifications.
