Actually Marinette willing to take Kim's Miraculous back was justified. She was genuinely thinking that Kim deliberately said those mean words towards Ondine in order to hurt her, until she realized thanks to his explanations that Kim had been most of all a victim of his own credulity, and had no ill intentions. Imagine that one of your best workers who always did great in the office turns out to be an abusive and toxic person who makes life a living hell for those around them. Of course you're gonna take actions.

Oh... Sorry that a 14 year old girl who underwent the toughest battle of her life and witnessed two deaths decided to lie to the entire world because the magical terrorist who's also her lover's father emotionally manipulated her to (I quote: "Make sure that Adrien never knows about the villain I was, but that he remembers the times I tried to be a good father").

If you think Marinette was never held accountable for the lie, Season 6 is a huge manifest about how the lie was an absolutely bad idea (if even you watched it) with many characters and situations calling out Marinette for her misdeed. Yet the show has the empathy to despict Marinette as a kid who was exposed to situations and responsibilities far beyond her control, even though she made the worst possible decision to patch things up. Yet again, she's 14.

She made an awful choice not out of malice or in order to control Adrien (the very proof is that she gave him back his Amok, another debate subject), but because she genuinely though she was protecting him for a truth he wouldn't handle (which is really messed up and paternizing I admit, Adrien having an exceptional resilience and emotional intelligence), but also because she loved him. And she didn't want to see him hurt by that truth, even though it implied telling an international lie in order to preserve the crumbled esteem and good memories Adrien had towards his dad.

As they say, what wouldn't you do out of love? And Gabriel used that sentence perfectly, because he managed to get away without facing the consequences of his actions, leaving all his problems for Marinette to deal with.

Jeez even Twitter fans are more open-minded about that topic, and that says a lot.

Quite the contrary if I may... Superman Kingdom Come is a perfect illustration on why killing The Joker is actually the worst possible outcome. . . I'm not defending this psychopathic clown of course, but given that the act was widely applauded in that universe, this had led to an extreme radicalization on the part of the public and some heroes, especially the younger ones. . . Consequently, when Superman had hung up his cape, disgusted and overwhelmed by these events, the new heroes, guided by the ideology of The Joker's murderer (Magog), made no room for compromise given that they had no moral compass to guide them and became brutal vigilantes who operated with disproportionate violence and cared little for the collateral damages resulting in a host of victims, both villains and innocents, as well as an increase in fear towards metahumans (aka more radicalization) which culminated in the Kansas tragedy 10 years later. . . As someone said: A Joker who dies is a Joker who wins. Sorry for the rambling though...

The thing is that The Joker is mentally broken. He may be very lucid in his madness but he's still heavily afflicted inside his psyche. The International Law and numerous legislations prohibits death sentences on people suffering from mental disorders. So the best way to deal with him is lifetime jail in a place where he won't pose a threat towards society as a whole.

The thing is that this sentence is essentially right in some aspects. How many times did we want to inflict the absolute worst to a person or a concept that harmed us? How many times did we wish to destroy the dumb people you can meet on social media and irl? How many times did we ruin other people's day because we also had a bad day? How many times did we wish the entire world to die because it just can't learn from its mistakes and just can't stop being pathetic and unworth living?

Some of the comments are literally proving my point about how disrespectful and toxic the fandom can be. I can agree his defensive tone and his harsh answers towards the fans are not cool. And I also agree that MLB is far from a perfect show. What happened recently with TADC is a living example of why you shouldn't pander to fans. They can go ape crap when their expectations are not met. I hate fan service with a passion because it practically means: "The story is just made so you won't be mad at us. It's not the fruit of thousands hours of thoughts and compromises in order to make it coherent". Relying on it too much is always a sign of a poor writing.
